@NC: About shotty2. Meh, he reads like newbtown. It would be an interesting SK gambit, but it seems unlikely (mostly because of its ineffectiveness). Regardless of true alignment, I bet he'll be eating a piping hot lead sandwich from
somebody
before this game ends, so I'm not too concerned about him right now.

Now, MOVING ON:

jason's last post doesn't do much to assuage my concerns about him. Most of the meat of the post is kind of sniping at little things, and he skimped on the "big picture" part of the post I was looking for (his overall scumreads). Also, is he usually this indecisive? He gave an "unsure" answer or some variation on: shotty, shotty 2, firestarter [wagon], rack [wagon], red, vijay. Actually, someone straight up asked jason for a read on rack and the answer that he ultimately gave is "unsure where to go on this one": nothing more.

BTW, he called me out on my "Nero is town post" without explanation (which I totally gave a few posts later) and then later in the post he calls me town for no reason. Awesome.

We aren't lynching either today so why does it matter and why did you not care about LLD's placement?
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

the point was that shotgun shouldn't be given an auto town read and let him lurk to victory.

You gave more reasons for a LLD scumread so at least that made sense.

I'm asking because it doesn't make any logical sense for them to be on different levels given the information you gave. I don't like things that don't make sense. So if you explain yourself a little bit more, maybe it help me get a read on you OK?

I can't explain gut hence why is gut. As I said, NN attacks over a pl is weak and looks lynch happy.

What did you think of the points against LLD?

Nero Cain wrote:I disagree with the "shotgun is obvious town b/c he claimed" crowd. I asked him a very simple question, why whould he as town bandwagon rack with a vote disquised as an RVS. He avoided said question and went on to claim a PR. This looks like newb scum trying to shut down early heat on him.but since he's a VI the scumread is weak.

LLD, NN and KK get scum points for their cognitive dissonance here i.e;Nero is scummy for not providing "proof" that Shotty is a vi but Shotgun is town for avoiding a question.

drmyshotgun's not "town because he claimed". He's getting a pass right now because he claimed
Universal Backup
. Which means that he gets a pass until the first PR death and then he must validate his claim. If he's scum, then he's bought himself a day or two, tops.

I don't care if he doesn't answer any questions or even bothers to post (since he doesn't seem to understand the concept of scumhunting). There is zero chance that he will "lurk to victory" with that claim.

The point is noone needs to mentions shotguns name unless a PR dies, and he doesn't die the next night.

Rack's been pseudolynched already, even without the above players' opinions. Look at the names involved.

Tell me, LLD, does this look like a town-driven wagon to you?

Wow.

That looks fairly amazingly town.

Scumreads are now:

Firestarter

Jason-
Very weak, but posting is not that impressive and thinking I'm scum for coasting (which is not any different from how he's seen me as town and it's a very large game too) is off.
Macros-
Nothing town about his play. Scumread is more gut than anything else.
Pine-
I still like my vote on him.

I still think it's too early to tell for rack. Maxous's recent posting has been good, so I don't have a scumread on him anymore. I'm also going to trust antihero on Nero Cain.

Rack:
Could you out your heads? I'm thinking it may help me get a better understanding of how you feel in relation to your partner. Could you also answer my question in the post after your previous one?

Maxous:
That was directed at Rack in case that was unclear.

Macros:
Would you like me to vote benmage?

Jason:
How could those words be said of me too?

Yeah, I'm still catching up (on pg 21, tho read some recent posts obv), and then going to go through my reads. Right now. I'd say town driven, as in no more than 2 scum on it. (voting) I need to give DV a closer read, but I like the potential voters as town too.

So yeah. We'll see if anything changes.

Lady Lambdadelta wrote:(BTW, this is why I let replacements have some rope to hang themselves with. Antihero is SO SO town in comparison to CCV.)

CCV was quite town imo. Loving AH too.
Lady Lambdadelta wrote:
You have two options.

If you are confirmed town as you say, replace out. You yourself admit that people shouldn't read your posts. If you're town, you'll replace out and allow someone competent to take your slot and use it.

If you don't replace out, I'll have to act under the assumption that your claim was solely for the purpose of looking town, and that you might not be town.

So your choice, replace out or die. Either way, you're useless while you're here.

Aww LLD, lay off the poor bugger.

Sure he had plenty of posts before the vote landed on him, but there wasn't exactly much content in them, a lot of lists and on liners, sure bitches love lists, but I felt they added nothing whilst looking pro active.
His response to the vote was to call the person voting for him retarded and then continued to extol his virtues as a paragon of mafia players which I never like and just reeks of someone trying to lead the game, he realises no-one is following me to vote for him
then his posting drops off again.

Its not much, not great but its what I see, make of it what you will

Bolded both for hypocrisy.

As far as trying to lead the game. Find me a successful scum game where scum lead from D1 and Live to lylo. GG. Hint Hint Scum don't want the spotlight attention.

The 300 to 350 range is your only big activity, and its mostly tearing into hez, over the head of the singular vote you had garnered, its why I'm votig for you, you went back to one liners circa 350ish, this is not concrete, trying to track posts isn't great on the phone

I do both.
Sometimes cirumstances force players to the fore regardless of their desires, some players like to be involved atthe front regardless of role, I've been in two games where the eventual winners made it to endgame and lead everyone else about by the nose the whole time.
Both times I called them on it and was lynched, saying I told you so afterwards doesn't help the town much.
So what im saying is I don't prescribe to the theroies of scum must do this and town must do this. That sfjit annoys me and its a very easy wall for players to hide behind
