Well, it's basically inevitable that you're going to be lynched, so what good is you hanging around? You're the one remaining wolf, once you're dead, wolves lose, so since you're GOING to die, it won't matter to you whether scum get more time or not, it'll just end your involvement in a game you've already lost.

You say you don't believe Asher's claim - make the case then. How does his claim make sense if he isn't the seer, because as far as I can see, fakeclaiming here can only hurt whatever faction he is.

If I am not the seer and there is a seer lurking out there who does not know who the last wolf is, I doubt there would be a CC.

Unless, of course, you plan on counter-claiming. That would be a last ditch effort.

Of course, there is a seer who did claim in public without provocation: me. And my claim was that you are a werewolf. Both of us know the truth of the situation. Hopefully the town lynches you today and learns the truth about your shedding and flea problem.

Haven't you realized I've been working on finding the maf. Really you weren't top 3 on Seer reads. I have no intention of self hammering since Town semi deserves this win. But Chimi I believe is scum.

I know this might seem from out in left field, but would anyone actually be opposed to keeping Elmo alive for another night (depending on his accuracy, maybe two)? Having that nightkill bouncing around isn't good for mafia.

The only danger with it would be if Elmo decides to screw us over and kill asher... from his last post, it sounds like he would try to help us out though.

OT: and would have won too if the mods didn't allow town to coordinate their night actions to protect each other and communicate via PM during the day -- but that's on another forum and I don't play there anymore

). When you're down to the last of your faction you have no choice but to scumhunt.

But your night kill means you have to die. If only wolves and man could get along. Maybe one day.

With Elmo's surrender I'm not sure how much else will come out of today unless someone comes out of the woodwork to counter-claim me.

Pedit: Hey guess we did get something. PC & Thom: that is a terrible idea. Leaving the night kill on the table poses a much greater risk to the town than the mafia. As I said to Chrimi, that kind of thinking is much more pro mafia than pro town. There is no reason for the town to attempt to out-game themselves and screw themselves out of a victory. Not to mention, Elmo is far and away the best lynch candidate.

I understand where you are coming from, but there is pro town in it as it can be seen similar to what happened in my mayo clinic claim where the SK claimed and said they would be a vig for town, although we can't completely trust them as they are still scum with the threat of death we could controll the kill, however there is a difference here that there is no protection role to protect our pretty much clear, so i am in favor of lynching elmo, but was just throwing it out there.

Not to mention being a "dead man walking" isn't that fun for the person in limbo. Granted, I was alpha-wolf in the above mentioned game and managed to keep one of my underling wolves alive for 3 days before the town banded together. But that was just silly, and that played into my hands as scumlord. Still, there wasn't much he could do other than be a zombie-wolf.

Don't leave the confirmed wolf alive. We've got a victory today for the town -- all we have to do is slam it home.

I think it is obvious who the lynch is, so i am willing to put it at L-1 if nobody objects, as i doubt we will get much descussion done with a confirmed wolf.

Bolded is one key difference.

Another key difference is that there is no reason for us to throw away having a 6-2 town-scum advantage with the mafia being unable to nightkill. Worst case scenario is we lynch a town and a town gets NK'd. 4-2 is a much more winnable game for the mafia.

Having a kill is "not that much fun"? You and I have two differing opinions of fun.

There actually isn't really that much benefit to keeping Elmo alive, now that I think about it, even if he did play along with our wishes. All it would do is speed up the game by a day/night cycle or two, at best. At worst, he could decide to screw us over and kill you.

I hope so, given there are no meaningful night actions the game is effectively nightless so it would make sense to make that official.

By the way, I would say good work town, but tbh it's more like bad work wolves. BUT, good work Asher. You claimed at the right moment, so well done. Also, I totally thought you were scum D1. Would have lynched you in a heartbeat. Whoops!
