He was never in a teamfight proper, always taking towers. And we chose our fights really well- Ashe arrow'd Graves when he was alone and we ate him quickly, then it was an easy 4v5.
Basically I just sat in BEAR stance and stunned Graves/Ahri/Nasus. After Graves died I just focused Nasus and even though he was beefy, farmed, and had GA, I was also farmed and was able to BEAR stun him and TIGER slash him more than he could damage me. BEARS OP.

'Mage' is a fancy word for 'spell based damage dealing intelligence hero'. The whole thing is a bit of a mouthful so i prefer to call them 'Mages' or 'Casters'.

I don't think there's a single mage in the game that is a true carry, due to the non-scaling nature of spells proper carries or hypercarries should be able to shrug off the non-CC effects of most mages by the end game.

Storm Spirit, Tinker, Death Prophet, OD, Leshrac, and Necrolyte are all carries.

You can also potentially carry with Enchant, Furion, Silencer and QOP.

The lesson to be learned here is not to worry when Bloodseeker gets fed, because he has puny shoulder muscles and cannot carry effectively.

Yup.

The bigger lesson is that Bloodseeker is a shit hero.

Edit: Their team also failed hard by letting it go past the 40 minute mark. They should have won it by 30.

To be fair, BS could theoretically work in some kind of specific team that's built around his ability to stay in a fight -- I'm just not exactly sure which team that would be.

Any hero could fit in a lineup built for it, it's just there are much better heroes who you're better building a team around.

IIRC, techies has been picked competitively before... just not more than once or twice. And more for the shock factor.
