I think Cooldog is town.
Glork wrote:Your defense is like a billion times STRONGER than it was in LyLo in Scummies WINvitational, and that freaks me the fuck out, because THE GAME WAS ON THE LINE THEN, AND YOU COULDN'T BE ARSED TO DEFEND YOURSELF.
In the Scummies Winvitational, I didn't have 3 people in a quicktopic who I didn't want to let down. I also, apparently, can't handle large theme games.
Glork wrote:This one gets me, because the answer should be obvious.
But Haylen isn't GIVING it.
What? I don't understand what you're saying. What answer haven't I given that I should have? Grey said he only misreads me as scum, so I voted for him. Because he claims to only be wrong about me as scum.
Mastins Mafia
Mind Screw V. Flay and Ani say using that game as an example of anything is silly.
Oxymoron Mafia. I was a hydra here.
Oh, I might have been scum in Sykedoc's large theme before the crash when I was playing under Player 15 but I think I was town. I don't have any record of that game in my PM's, a thread or anything.
Uberninja wrote:CoolDog's big post about me + vote is completely disingenuous and isn't saying anything new.
It's just one way of making a case. You are not refuted it or defending yourself against it. Why is this?
That thread.
Was not.
About anything.
From Buffy Mafia.
I thought it had been agreed that people misconstrued what I was saying. Thus I shall be ignoring any comments making reference to that.
I never read the thread after I replaced out, so I never found out who was scum. Do you seriously expect me to be able to remember every alignment of every player in every game I've played? Particularly games in which I have replaced out?
I had forgotten Multiple Personality Mafia.
Fluff between Murasa and GreyICE. Nice way to spam up the thread.
Uber wrote:Whoever still thinks Haylen might be town hasn't read GreyICE's posts.

Leaning town on Jason and Prozac.
I like Zach. He should keep talking, he's shown an ability to consistantly read me in past games.
Grey and Peregrine: I want a full list of reads on each player for you.
Slaxx wrote:The scum read on Haylen comes from Grey's line of logic
What logic, Slaxx?
Iam wrote:I'm not 'derping along without putting thought into this', I'm voting Haylen precisely BECAUSE she said nothing like what you suggest here.
I don't get what you're saying here either.
3) hasn't got enough attention, frankly. Talking about the number of scum on your wagon without putting any effort towards identifying who on the wagon is scum is not scumhunting.
I thought that was obvious through my reads at the time. Uber and one of GreyICE or Slaxx.
Iam wrote:Haylen was saying that GreyICE was scum, but also trying to convince him that his read was wrong.
Actually, I was trying to convince everyone he was talking bullcrap and thus is town.Seriously. Read your role PM before playing.

LoL, so basically you would vote me for sheeping Glork because he's not playing his town game, rather than voting Glork for not playing his town game?

is the joke that he hasn't posted? He has posted but no content. I guess that could be considered lurking. I just don't think lurking alone should be enough for a lynch. Making scummy posts AND lurking should be auto lynch.
pere wrote:
pedit-@CoolDog-The two I mentioned so far, and mostly gut. But, I do think that people have to active lurk to lurk in this game. Aside from you playing it, your team mates would be on your ass to get in the thread if it came to it, so lurking in team games is much more suspicious.
Not true. Seeing as lurking is a legitimate scum tactic we could still see it tactically used here.
↑ Mastermind of Sin wrote:
Also, I'm probably just going to sheep Glork until I feel like doing something else. I don't feel like voting though but I'll just agree with whatever he says cuz he's in the groove.
Why don't you feel like playing the game with us?
iam wrote:The explanation here sounds more like "overdefensiveness is counterproductive" than "overdefensiveness is a scumtell". When can overdefensiveness be applied as a scumtell?
When it becomes apparent that a player's only concern is to stay alive and will do so over scum hunting. When defending takes more time than scum hunting then it is a scum tell. And when the player makes defenses for arguments that haven't been made yet in order to cover his or her ass.
I normally go on a case by case basis, and part of it is the way the defense reads. Casually sweeping away arguments because they take time away from your scum hunting is the mark of a town player who wants to lynch scum. Getting red faced and making wall after wall about one or two arguments is scum.

Stopped reading here. If you are going to make silly meta arguments at least have decent meta. Damn, I thought a winner of a scummy would be better than this...after a wank.- Haylen

I was asked for my most recent scum games and I gave them. The last two were about a year ago when I was playing really really badly. I think I've got it back since then.
Do you consider lurking scummy? Or just active lurking?Seriously. Read your role PM before playing.

@ Slaxx: What you mean the one where he tells me his team has reads but he's not going to share them because he needs the team to quickly fabricate those reads for him in the QT and they haven't done it yet?
Or the one where he pokes Porochaz, probably the least likable person in this game for attacking Glork, who is probably the person least likely to be lynched day 1 on this entire player list.
Herp derp.

This quote is from Haylen's side of the hydra in Oxymoron Mafia.
HAYLENSCUM META CONFIRMED.
Which, sadly, means both Grey and Haylen are protown. Well, they have the same alignment, anyway. And I'm leaning protown on that, because Grey is playing a pretty typical GreyTown so far, and I don't doubt the legitimacy of his provided team-reads at this point.- Glork

Lukewarm on Haylen, but I could totes go for an Iamlynch here. "A lurker" seems right, too. If I have a gun, it's pointed at DeltaWave right now.
