A big debate going on in the thread is because you're posting elsewhere but gave this no time. You realize that, right?

Are you saying you're expecting scum to be among the most active players? If so, why is that?

No, I'm saying there are scum among the players that are actually posting, so its stupid to attack people who won't respond to you when there are scummier people who will.

We're lynching sheascum Today, so that seems very productive to me.

It's time for TSQ to burn.

How much more lurking do you need?

I thought Benmage was scum in Winvitational too. A bunch of people did.
He got that tracker innocent to reset the reads on him to town and played well from there on out to not get lynched.

SHEA-BENMAGE-LLAMARBLE 2012

1. CES' reads have been static for half the game so far. Maybe a top scumread stays the same for a long time, but all 3 top reads don't stay the same when you're looking for scum. Especially when you have a whole team's worth of people with new ideas.

2. CES' refrain feels like MoI's "MORE MOS VOTES PLEASE" from when he was scum in Winvitational.
Appeal to repetition helps scum pretend to have strong convictions and it works as a persuasive technique.
Town ATR happens because they feel strongly and end up saying the same thing as they're trying to get people to listen.

I intend for my reads to be static throughout the game.

Why is your scumhunting so shallow, 'marble?

I meant that DGB and I were the only ones (to my recollection) that still thought he was scum AFTER the tracker thing. But it's not important. I don't remember all the details.

Well, you obviously didn't get the implication I was going for. And I do believe consistency is normally a scum tell, yes. So what do you conclude from that?

TSQ, Im taking that whole "getting butt kicked" as a lie until you explain why you arent getting your "butt kicked" enough not to be posting in other threads.

More to the point there's even less of an excuse given that he should have team-mates who could have read the game and picked up the slack to at least some degree by now.

... seriously.

That is true.
VOTE: TSQ
GreyICE and MoI will be happier now.
Honestly, I've been intending to vote him when he shows up but he hasn't done that.
CES + Johhog + TSQ is making a lot lot of sense to me. The interactions all work.
It makes sense out of CES' TSQ vote as distancing by sitting his vote on his buddy for a long time and then defusing easily if TSQ stops lurking.

Town-
Llamarble
Bub Bidderskins
Singersigner
Matias - this read is out of date though

Probtown-
Regfan
Benmage

Need more reading-
Amrun
Zach
Haddock

Maybescum-
Socio - ridiculously different and less participation than last year, and he was awesome last year so why change.

Scumteam-
TSQ
Johhog
CES

I was busy reading.

I assume you meant 3 days isn't long enough for consistency to be scummy.
But you had a lot of posts in that time and it still doesn't feel right.

Not in the least bit what I meant. That doesn't fit with my "I intend for my reads to be static throughout the game." either.

MOD: I will be V/LA until monday

I really don't like the TSQ wagon. It's just soooooo easy to get on it. All you have to do is say "lol, shea hasn't posted anything yet, must be scumz". I especially don't like zach and CES making their votes useless by putting them on somebody who hasn't posted yet. Does that make TSQ town? No. But let me put it this way:

TSQ IS NOT GETTING LYNCHED TODAY

I will be fucking pissed off if we lynch a lurker on D-1. Here's what we do, we lynch scum today, then TSQ gets the night to read back up on this game. If he doesn't post anything worthwhile, then we can start lynching him. But as for right now, a lynch on TSQ is stupid and easy and anti-town.

I've also downgraded my town-read on zach because of him parking his vote on TSQ forever and not bothering to comment on much else.

Pfft. Getting him lynched won't be too easy; if he's town, he'll have plenty of time to catch up and show that he is. But I have no intention of giving him a chance to ease back into the game.

I don't think you realize the fact that TSQ has pretty much been replacement dodging and not posting anything of value is a significant problem. You can call the lynch stupid all you want, but it actually does have more than a reasonable chance of hitting scum, and I'll be damned if I'm going to let him get deep into the game playing like this.

There are 13 players in this game, of which three are scum. The chance of TSQ being scum is completely random, since we have 0 reads on him at all. Do you consider a 23% chance to be reasonable?
