I really like jungle malphite since it's so easy, and I don't really have to screw around with pots, which is good.
His ganks aren't anywhere near as good as other junglers pre-level 6, but after he gets his ult... Let the good times roll

The thing I like about malphite is that he is one of the easiest junglers to transition.

Stonewall's recent measurement system seems to work well for Malphite. He's a cheap jungler, with low risk and good ganking. He might not be the best jungler but he's still very easy to do. I can clear jungle with pretty much full hp using only two of my 5 pots. And that's when I don't wait for my shield and just run straight in. He's really good at catching out champs trying to steal his stuff as he can keep them locked down until the laners can come and nab the kill.

Pretty much atm my junglers that I like playing the most are Malphite for tanky, rammus when I can, and troll for a bit more offensive. I should probably learn one of the high speed and high damage junglers but I really hate p-laying those kind of champs. I just don't have the killer instinct.

Also starting a list of bands that I can stick on for when I play each champ.

Instead of getting pots, I get a regrowth pendant for malph. The downside is that you'll be better off going b when you clear your jungle, since you'll only have around 4/10 health left. This isn't really too much of a problem since Malph <6 ganks are sad.
Upside is you get your Philo quicker, which is great. Plus I don't mess up with my pots like I usually do this way.

I've pretty much got my AP mids covered now, and AD carry is my second role and I have most of those covered.

I can attest to this statement. Playing with 30's makes you learn faster, and you're exposed to better play.

Also since Sourdough and Pumpernickel and Breadcrumbs were taken my smurf is named DinnerRoll. I'm Lv.8 and plan on playing 1-3 champs exclusively to get better.


I can also vouch for the epicness of Tree.
However he works best with MOAR CIRCLE ULTS.
And I've just discovered the sheer amount of CC that the boar has so I'll be playing alot of her elsewhere.

I used that account primarily to try out champs I didn't want to buy out of the blue on my main.
Since then I've found a better way of doing just that.

and I actually disagree with playing with level 30's as a better alternative to playing with smurf/friends

If you are playing with smurfs, you'll win a lot at first, but you will still be put up against harder groups, some that have the same skill level as level 30s, and a lot of which are smurfs themselves.
The only real difference that makes it "harder" is that you don't have a full rune page or very many champions, and perhaps will be exposed to a larger pool of champions earlier on.
The skill level of the players can get to the same level though after 7+ wins.
I've smurfed, gotten 10 wins in a row, and actually was put up against people 8+ levels above me. (this was when I tried galio for the first time ever)

While I realise a number of people have found it beneficial to jump in with level 30s, I'm not convinced it's universally the best idea.
