The problem with squishes like annie top is they likely will never survive a gank if they are pushed up a little bit.

I can imagine Ahri leaving lane to roam. Then wham, random bandage toss out of a bush with amumu crying on top of her as she's running back to lane/away from him.

Well, annie specifically has a nicer spot up top than a lot of other squishies:

highest base auto attack range
a controllable pretty decent duration stun
mr/armor steroid on her e

^Plus most decent Annie builds go RoA first since she tends to have to get a little close for comfort for her big combo. Also that MR/Armor steroid is pretty much permanently up once you max it out with a little CDR IIRC.

I don't think I've ever consciously noticed the bit about the CDR, probably because 9 times out of 10 I'm using E as a spamming tool to get my stun up asap. The stun is way more useful in fights than a thornmail-esque ability.

Not sure if the recent E changes would make it easier to have up an overwhelming majority of the time -- I can't do that kind of math in my head. I don't think I've ever intentionally gotten her up to the max CDR, either. It's 40%, right? I think I want to do some testing later (unless someone wants to sit here and do the math)...

I just checked, at at the 40% CDR cap your cooldown for her E is 9.6 seconds, so assuming absolutely perfect timing on her E, it should only be down for 1.6 seconds between casts. In other words, there's no real reason to go into a fight as Annie lategame without a 50MR/Armor steroid that does decent magic damage to anyone trying to right-click you down.

Edit: and of course, it doesn't count as an offensive spell, so you can keep recasting it without losing your Pyromania stun.

If you are getting a second monitor, make sure to put the game in Borderless mode. It makes it a lot easier to switch to the second screen.
