Is it bad that I want to rage about Random Normal Queues.

Because almost every single game as soon as you get to champion select, people are spamming "mid...", "Bot with so and so", "Solo Top", and there you are sitting there like "wtf?" I literally argued with someone because they claimed to go bot with someone and that someone was the only mid champion on our side.

I don't know if they have tried implementing a queue where you select where you want to be in the game and queue based off of that, I think that would be helpful instead of arguing over where you are going.

yeaaah blind pick normal queues are kind of the place for dicking around and actually playing what you want instead of being serious. draft tends to be a lot better if you care about having a team that makes sense so I'd play those if that's irritating you.

But not in ranked!

(First or second pick picks top. Picking Singed without knowing the opponent or banning out the counters people know is suicide. That means you either are in the position to pick a top, but can't pick singed or the top is picked already. The fact that I do have a lot of singed picks in NA means that at some point I figured out that I dropped a lot of elo by playing mid horribly, and at 1100-1200 it really didn't matter who my opponent was when I played singed)

Over half my games in ranked (if you sum both EU and NA) are support games. I do enjoy playing support, esspecially when the AD is halfway decent it is brilliant. Early levels, it is you who can win the game for your carry. It is trueish that at lower elo's this is somewhat harder, as you find less carry's who can farm a lane, harrass when not farming and right click in teamfights. But as soon as you find one who can do all three, supporting is a really satisfying job.

Play 5s. Add every scummer, get a group of 5 together and play 5s.

This, basically. I play almost exclusively with scummers (and sometimes people I know IRL). I'll queue by myself every few days, lose faith in humanity, and then go back to only queuing with people I know.

Eh. Solo queue normals can be nice, especially if you just wanna get a game in before bed and don't want to wait for people, etc. I think if you're looking for a "good" game, then yeah, playing in a premade 5 is the way to go.
