I didn't think I had to spell out my point. I'm a fan of show, not tell. But just for you:

I wasn't asking dumb questions, I was attempting to investigate specific behavior to see people's answers/reactions. I find it interesting to note that in fact they were ignored in favor of piling votes on me.

Do you know what oblique means? Because I think you're misunderstanding my remark. A direct approach would be e.g. to explain why the answers to those questions would tell us something about the players answering them. Instead you basically define "dumb questions" as being RQS-type questions and then suggest that your questions can't be dumb because they're not RQS-type questions.
