adame Récamier looked in the eyes of her executioners. She was calm and haughty. She started to speak in a low murmur.

"Well," she said as her voice grew stronger, crueller "I kill because of the outrage done to me, an anguish so deep that no time could absolve, an original affront that no sweetness shall mend."

"Her, the pitiful creature of decadent flesh, her, the transient image whom I was to echo into eternity."

"She dared reject me!" she cried.

The assistance was mute and round eyed, a box of matches and a bottle of turpentine was passing from hands to hands.

The portrait regained her composure and said with a pout, finally, "You are doomed and I smile, because I see the travesty of those who call themselves just and whom you follow blindly".

olyphème Desroches came to at the sound of a strident cry. Xuan Nguyen, his colleague was gesticulating at him and screaming at the top of her voice, "Ma! Mama! Tôi thấy anh ta... Mamamamamama! Trong bảo tàng mamama!Ma!"

The night guard's head was spinning and nausea was churning in his guts, he was splayed upon the floor with something hard digging into his side. He really wanted the screaming to cease. He thought that whatever had happened must have shocked his colleague quite a bit as she had reverted to her mother-tongue. Polyphème groaned and made a superhuman effort to get on his feet; he tried to reach toward Xuan in a calming gesture, but before he could touch her, the girl fled from the room with a last horrified cry.

Puzzled and irritated, he was about call after her, when he saw something that petrified him on the spot. His own hand had come into the field of his vision, and it was covered in blood.

Heart filling with dread, he slowly directed his gaze downward. When he saw the corpse of the grey haired man laying at his feet, the corpse upon which he must have lain seconds earlier, he fainted.

That morning, the sun was brittle. It rose with difficulty behind the dark stormy clouds having carried from night. Even then, the grey, grainy light seemed too bright as it unveiled the cold bodies of Williard Winckelmann, and Polyphème Desroches. Near the maimed remains of the later, writings hung on the wall.

Two kills doesn't make sense with Yos2's claim. For Yostwo's claim to be twoo, there would have to have been two blocked kills N1, making three kill sources total. In a Mini. And not just on Night 1, but potentially three-kill Nights thereafter.

And oh look, that puts me back at Yos2+Nuwen. Imagine the heck out of that.

Uh; yes, it would solve the issue actually; that would explain why there are two kills today. We already knew there was at least one blocked kill night 1.

Anyway we already have a claimed bulletproof, and it's unlikely that that's the only kill-stopping role.

Uh, I explained in pretty great detail why I thought he was scum when I voted him the first time, thank you very much. I basically POE's the list down to my 3 most likely suspects, which were Furcolow, Kats, and Parama. I went after Furcolow; I then got distrated over to Parama when he was being stupid, then we got derailed by the gambit, and then after that was over I went back to Parama.

And yes, when I voted for Furcolow 3 days before deadline and told everyone to "stop doing stupid things and follow me" after the stupid cop gambit, there was no one else voting for him at the time. People followed me, and we got it all the way to a lynch.

There is no way Furcolow was going to be lynched yesterday if I hadn't lynched him. No one else was even paying any attention to him; everyone else was either content to just let him lurk his way through the game, or else they had forgotten about him completely.

You know that I'm town here, Vi. You know that there's no way I claim vig as scum at the start of day 2 for no reason. You know there's zero chance that a scum shoots Elmo after night 1. You know that there's no way that me and Furcolow were scum buddies yesterday if you read the thread, and you know that I've been playing like town. Are you seriously going to let stupid setup speculation get in the way of all of that?

due to the furcolow sudden wagon, I think I'd clear Yos; and that wagon wouldn't have gone through without that quote by nuwen, so I tend to let go of that one as a start. Vi does hav a point tho - although in day 1 me being bulletproof might have removed 2 kills? anyway - Hiraki isn't dead yet too of course.

I'd be happy with a Hiraki lynch once more.
