MoI, her plan was "take an unflipped tile if you're not close to spelling a word." Which means scum would know who did and did not have powers, which is a terrible, terrible idea, and all of the other ideas are just as terrible for this same reason.

Arugula, your plan is the same as IceGuy's, which isn't inherently scummy, but passing it off as your own plan is sketch, and you're way too worried about what people think and have no conviction.

Better, I wasn't calling you scum, I was simply asking. You had given an answer that kinda went both ways. I wanted to know if you believed LLD to be scum.

2. All right, that makes sense. However, even with that in mind, my reasoning with you is the same as with LLD: Since you didn't know you would get that letter at all, I can't call you scummy for it.

(I can call you you dumb, but that doesn't solve anything, does it?)

Yes, it's scummy, Arugula. Voided, what I mean by "no conviction" is that he's not proposing a plan he believes in, like LLD did (which she is townish for, btw). He is proposing a plan in an attempt to appear pro-town and apologizing for the plan right as he posts it.

hmm...Well, I originally didn't think about it when I first saw the post, as I originally didn't think that he wasn't showing conviction and that it was just his way of saying "I don't care if you tear into me, I'm still going to write it.". However, looking at it again makes that feel vastly diminish, and it doesn't feel at all like that. Feels more like "Well, here's this plan, if you like it, you like it; if not, well, okay."

First, I misread the tone.

Secondly, Amrun prompted me to reread it, I didn't look at her post and go "oh, yeah, she's totally correct!".

Thirdly, because it also opens a way for you to easily back down by saying, "hey, guys, I was just putting that out there, don't worry about it" or somesuch. Basically, it allows an easy out for you.
