btw, re: game 3 -

picking Caitlyn v Morg wasn't meant to hard counter or be a kill lane, it was more "who is an AD carry I can take mid to negate the usefulness of Black Shield that isn't GP"

Black Cleaver first wasn't a bad idea with two AD carries on our team + negating Graves' armor buff passive

going IE first on Graves is like fairly fucking standard, what the hell was the bitching about that?

we specifically told Vayne to farm bot while we took baron. I don't think Blue could've responded in time even after Brandi's execution, to be honest

I had no idea the gold totals were as close as they were most of the game

sending Vayne top while four of us pushed mid after that second baron was not a dumb idea. with the amount of time we had, we couldn't take the Nexus, and Vayne being top let us take two towers and two inhibs instead of one tower and one inhib then "oh shit we need to B they're all up"

what this game came down to was bot lane being a disaster, mid lane being a disaster, and top lane being a disaster ... this is probably the least interesting analysis ever...

PREDIT: I'm giving feedback because I rewatched the VODs and wrote down my thoughts during it. It's not meant to be mean towards anyone whatsoever. I'm arguing against certain points that were made for the sake of discussion, and critiquing some other techniques for the sake of giving my opinion (as JD has done many times in the past after a night of inhouses/casting).

Black cleaver was a bad idea. Just cause you had two ad carries doesn't automatically make it a good item. Both carries will do more damage overall with standard builds. IE was a combination of it being really late and exhaustion. It's find on graves. BT adds more burst which is the only thing

We had four people casting. It was 3 o'clock for jd, me and bev. We were trying to enjoy ourselves. You weren't gojng to get insightful analysis during these. Sorry to dissapoint. If you just wanted to discuss the observations made, you might not want to be so confrontational about it. Basically, calm your tits.

I'm actually going to side with Reck; his post isn't reading as angry as you guys are viewing it, it's merely a critique on the same level of condescension that JD and co were at during the casts.

I don't think it's fair to get on Reck's case for poking at the casters when the casters outright berate the players for their choices without offering additional input (eg. saying "X is a shitty item on [champ] lol" instead of saying, for example, "Well, I personally build X on [champ] because Y"; this came up at least twice in the Vayne/Graves conversations during game 3).

[pedit] In that teamcomp, I think BC was an okay choice. Reck was doing well enough as Cait for Vayne to play as more of a support-AD, not to mention if you're going to build BC on anyone, it's Vayne due to her Silver Bolts. IE vs BT, especially on Graves who is tanky as hell with his passive (also hence the BC pick being okay), is personal preference. I wanted the damage over sustain. Lack of insightful analysis is fine, but that's no excuse for at least explaining your thoughts instead of coming off as condescending.

That said, I had a lot of fun in the inhouses. Topnaut is amazingly fun, and that was the best Graves-play I've had (farm-wise, not positioning-wise...) since I started actually playing him (on like last Tuesday? and got a penta on Thursday)

You do more damage with BT (assuming you can hold onto your stacks). Graves is a bursty ad carry, and BT adds more due to the ratios. Flat damage is going to add more than the crits in this case. IE is still a fine item though. With BC on vayne you are hampering her late game damage. If someone should have gotten BC, it should have been cait due to her not being the hypercarry vayne is. Is graves passive was the concern, getting a LW on both carries (which both should probably get anyways) is a better option.

I thought they were good, and enjoyed the commentary.
Though I did find myself laughing about Diablo item names and SPOONS more than the actual inhouses... honestly there wasn't too much to comment on and I understand why you guys got off topic.
I wasn't really expecting SRS business out of 6 casters anyway.

I do feel a bit guilty about picking Soraka those last two games.
It's just I felt so out of it from being sick I didn't want to try hard with something like Leona again.
Maybe I'll try to actually learn Katarina and pick it for Scot next time. ;P
