Hey, checking in to say that I'm having computer problems (broken laptop fan) that kept me from reading/posting yesterday and will make it harder to do so for about a week. I'm traveling today, but I'll try to have something substantial up tomorrow.

No you are flipping Espeonage's motives to make it look like scummy. He did not at all pressure other VT's to claim. Okay, understandable that he didn't want to be the NK. There's nothing wrong with that. My point is you were basically tunneling on both Espeonage and I with some side swiping of other players. That to me is a scum tell. My point on the jailing is the fact is it wasn't clear which reasoning. Did you want to use jail to jail scum or did you want to use jail to jail town.

1. I always get accused of "making people look scummy", I'm looking for motivations if I think they are scum motivated then I look at it from their scum perspective. 2. I want to jail the 2nd scummiest player, it makes the tracker's job, etc easier if they can narrow down which scum to track b/c one can't move. If we jail town on purpose we risk roleblocking a PR.

Mala is a null read to me; she is flailing around a lot but it doesn't really seem like there is a scum motivation behind it. I found the quick wagon at the beginning of the day alarming, and I would expect at least one of the people involved to be scum. To a quick analysis, you came out looking most scummy, hence my vote. Between the other two, shotgun had claimed VT and so made a good target for jailing: if he is town, we lose nothing, while if he is scum, we've jailed a scum.

More like an observation. The reason you started Defender's BW was because he seemed to be lurking. He got lynched because he did not defend himself properly (see what I did there?). Day one lynches usually happen because of this. However, I don't particularly get your argument. I don't think that his point of view for Mala changed as drastically as you mentioned. You do have a point about sword not mentioning Defender in a couple of his posts after defender was L-2 (I had to check just now to confirm this).

483 is an excellent illustration of why I can't go along with the Mala wagon. Is this a high-quality post? No. It definitely favors summary over analysis. But at the same time, it offers clear opinions on many players and an attempt to explain them. We know what Mala is thinking, even if she hasn't yet formed those thoughts into an argument. I have a hard time seeing scum (especially MS-inexperienced scum) being comfortable making a post like this. Practicing the 'psychic-vomit' style without accidentally revealing something is a very advanced maneuver, so it's something newbie scum tend to avoid.

I don't like how BK's last few post have been exclusively aimed at fighting Mala's suspicions of him. If he thinks Mala is scum (and he

voting her), why go into a defensive crouch when she pushes back with accusations of her own? From the perspective of someone who thinks they've caught scum, Mala's making OMGUSy noise, not a legitimate argument.

I feel like there's at least one scum voting for me at this point. I was thinking BK just because of the tunneling that I stated above. Not sure why, but when someone flails I always associate them with being innocent. It's probably the wrong mindset for me to be in, but that's just my thoughts. Shotty is most likely not lying about being VT so her on the wagon is out. That leaves Swords and BK. Everyone is saying swords was obvstown, but I didn't really see that. I still have a null read on him, but it's slowly increasingly to a possible low scum read, but not enough to vote at this point.

I don't really understand the two votes on Psyche. I understand that he's most likely being voted in order to attempt to make him spur his inactivity, but there's others at this point who have almost contributed the same level, but no one has actually attempted to vote them.

As for Thetrollie's lack of posting I understand that RL gets in the way. I'm still getting a scum read because of what I stated before and the jumping on cases. More because Sword was V/LA and the jump on his first case of someone who claimed VT. He also was the only person who made a comment about Swords being quarantined. Though it's unlikely in Day 1 for scum to be defending an absent scum, but it could happen.

See the thing is BK you really don't have that much of a case. You are basing your case mainly on actions or comments that I have made based on my site. The second comment I do have to say was a horrid thing for you to jump on me for. My comment there was basically saying that we most likely have a scum on one wagon, opposing wagon and one is most likely not voting. I don't think that is a bad or even scummy assumption to make, but it's town in my view. I'll have to say this again I am always jumpy when I play, but that is not a scum tell.

Maybe you aren't getting support because you might be barking up the wrong tree. You have been tunneling me mainly, but along with the side swipe of tunneling Espeonage. I'll also note you have said nothing about Espeonage today, do you think he's town or do you believe he's scum also?

You weren't answering a question in 500. At best, you were volunteering clarification, but you certainly can't claim that it had anything to do with how "right" your case against Mala was. Rather, you were fighting her case against you. Your defensiveness is even more obvious in 528.

My vote on D3f3nd3r had nothing to do with lurking. I felt he was looking for an easy excuse to vote Espeonage and was trying to come up with reasoning post hoc.

I wouldn't say there is was a large change in sword's view of Mala, but a significant one nonetheless. Further, with his comments of "I was feeling like this yesterday but didn't get around to it", it feels like he is trying to make his vote seem more akin to a revote from yesterday as opposed to a new vote, and so make it not look like he is just gunning for a Malaquicklynch.

I'd like to see Psyche and TheTrollie put some votes down and perhaps they and Phill can give us some actual comments instead of just apologies for not posting and so on.
