This is a weak vote. I don't even know why you're voting for him.

I find Timetravellers tunneling of Zach very weird. I usually don't find tunneling a scum tell, most of the time just a null tell because both town and scum can use it effectively, but TimeTraveller is hardcore tunneling that it is becoming concerning. He has only really been addressing one person the whole game without really pointing out anything else, like Robocopter nicely explained in his last post. Another to note that TTS's tunneling isn't filled with sound evidence, and rather someone who wants to look extra townie by going against the grain and attacking one of the less scummier players in the game, Zach. Twisting people's words does not equal a case.

I still need to reread the thread a bit before i change my vote or anything. Probably going to vote TTS though.

Tunneling by itself is not always a scum tell, however several people have asked TTS for reads on OTHER players besides just Zach. So far he has not complied, not even shown interest in anyone other than Zach. This could be a scum ploy to appear to be scum hunting when not.

This really bothers me because of the timing from Venmar's post and how suddenly she slapped this down. It also doesn't really jibe with positions she's previously taken.

ATM I feel that Venmar and Jackal are the most scummy, however caveat with Jackal is he always seems scummy even when he is VT or a PR. uggh.

BIG GIANT RED LIGHT! Of the two players she considers scummiest one of them cast a weak unreasoned vote on TTS, and the other has stated an interest in voting for him. I don't see how you can genuinely state those two players are suspicious and then not be concerned by the votes they cast. So the thing here is that you get Rach taking a position in one regard on these two players, but then acting on the most popular bandwagon, which doesn't make any sense because what is giving it fuel is the players that she previously stated suspicion on.

The statement doesn't resolve with the action, the vote looks opportunistic as hell to me.

You are twisting his words. I read the thread. Stop saying I haven't. I read your argument and it sucks. I explained why, you saying that I didn't read is not a valid response.

What useful information? You haven't said a word about anybody besides Zach. You haven't given reads, possible partners, insight upon other people's cases. You aren't contributing besides these cases on Zach being scum.

First, I didn't say you didn't read the game. I'm saying you skimmed it, made half assed comments based on it with little thought.

Second, is it really hard for you to understand why Jakal would be considered an easy lynch?

Third, to my knowledge you never said why my reasoning sucks. You just said I didn't provide "useful information" or some such, which of course you've provided plenty of because

Series of events:
1. Rach votes me so that she can get my thoughts on other players (other than Zach).
2. Someone points out that's L-1.
3. She goes "oh my word. I thought it wasn't." Then doesn't remove her vote.
4. Then, even though she's leaving on V/LA and has had a vote count, she doesn't remove the vote.

So to answer your question, along with Mort's pretty sound analysis (i.e. linking to some scummy posts), Rach would be my secondary scum read.

Also, as of now (i.e. Monday at 4:17) Zach has not graced us with his response to my post, despite saying he'll be back on Monday morning. Not a huge deal or anything, but I hope he'll come through with something solid.

Either one looks to be a decent lynch right now. It's day 1 so there really isn't much to work with. In the absence of a real read, I will just toss a vote on someone that looks scummy.

You would be wrong there I am Not going to claim a role I am not. Even when I am scUm, I Rarely fake claim. To me, it Seems silly to fake claim a power Role you do not have, since Eventually you will get caught out. I am not a doc, but I am not scum either. It would be better to save me for in reserve.

First things first, let's talk about this whole tunneling situation. Obviously I disagree that i'm tunneling, but the more important question is - Why the fuck does it even matter? Is tunneling scummy? Does it invalidate anything that i've said? If not, why did you even bring it up Rach? Why do you insist on attempting to debunk my character rather than my case. You say i'm tunneling, and maybe I am - But you're refusing to actually address issues that i've brought up in your play. You still haven't addressed the later part of Post #117 as well as Venmar's objection in the subsequent post as well.

Mort's questions:

Why does tunneling matter?

1. Because the scum can hide in the shadows while you are focused on someone who is town. (If you are town).

2. Because it is a good way for scum to appear like they are actively scum hunting (if you are scum).


Why I brought it up?

I bring it up because I am not fond of tunneling and believe it end up benefiting scum more than town even when done by a town player. I am a big picture person who likes to look at the entire forest for patterns.


As for the rest I will take a look and see if I can clarify things more about post 117, my play, and what Venmar said.
