To be honest, Iceguy's post doesn't feel like it's intention is rolefishing. I believe he had a pro-town motivation but went about the wrong way of achieving his goal. He should have argued why he believes a mass roleclaim is a good idea, rather then ask the opinions of the other players on the subject.

IceGuy's first post definitely seemed like it was hinting at his having a power based on rolenames. I still think there is too much likelihood of outing a power role by mistake, or at least letting the scum narrow down targets, unless we're going to get something seriously useful out of it.
