Shii, at 29 I wasn't positive about him being scummy. I was still putting the pieces together. His first post was odd, but not scummy. As for his reactions, I'd say they started out scummy, but turned to somewhat townie. I have a soft spot for people that get ganged up on. That is one of my many weaknesses. Thus, leading to my Null-Leaning Town read.

That aside however (I need more from Hype to get a proper read), I must agree Blastoide is coming across really "wishywashy", as Hype put it. His overly large response to Chrimi's RVS vote and accusation tastes super apologetic, too. vvvv
I guess you can say that is how I play. I don't really know how to explain that. I don't really think it was that long.
↑ Blastoide wrote:First of all, sorry about that. We can't edit, but I spelled it correctly the second time. Second, you misspelled my name. If that was on purpose, "good one". Third, I meant the game you modded. I read it and it was really funny. I don't make fun of names. That is just plain rude.As for my post on LH, how is it more wishy washy than other peoples reads?
It's as if he didn't want to step on any toes. The bolded clinches it though, instead of justifying his apparent read, he throws doubt on the other people's reads.
I wasn't trying to cast doubt on others. I was just giving other examples of what I thought were Null Reads.
Still directed at Blastoide, are you calling the people you quoted null reads, or the statements inside the quotes null?
I was calling their opinions on LH null reads.
Elaborate on this, I don't understand, Hyperion had yet to post before Post 48.
What I am saying was BK voted me without giving a reason in his post, so I was going to ask why, but then Mala did that for me. Instead of BK answering though, Hyperion answered for him. Do you kinda see where I am getting at?
Ohhhh I get it your were listing the null reads as examples, ight.
Whenever I see people overly explaining themselves like you were to Chrimi it pangs my gut hard so I went off of that. You just did it again in this post though and now I'm doubting my read a bit.
You unvoted, so following your 48 you've found something?
↑ Loranthaceae wrote:Here we see Shii asking Chrimi a courtesy question giving him the perfect opportunity to show us that he's going to be the badass, who can probably get a way with an emotional vote on someone at some point in the game. Also look at the time interval between these two posts.. 1 min, which could indicate that they talked about emphasizing this attitude of his in the QT
What am I reading
Do you not check what types of games you sign up for?
↑ roflcopter wrote:being first on a crappy wagon is if anything the most opportunistic. greywing saw an unorthodox move (claiming vt in the first post) and jumped blindly at it because it makes an easy mark.
Hm. I'll curtly disagree since crap votes on players that don't know how to play to site meta can come from town and scum. What do you make of Jal, who did similarly?- Blastoide

Who'd you like to hear more from, then? Vote for them. We're not really close to a lynch yet, so you can always vote for someone else later.

for being the second one to get my gender wrong and for calling me scummy to keep the ball rolling and being rather superficial about it.
Please refer to me as LH because Lora seems to cause confusion.
This is a horrible, horrible vote.
Your post #98 is also ridiculous. Any more buddying, and I'd have told you to get a room.
↑ Blastoide wrote:As for my post on LH, how is it more wishy washy than other peoples reads?
↑ Blastoide wrote:
As for my stance on LH, I agree with Jal, you should have joined a newbie game first. You learn a lot of stuff there, but as for you comments. I think that he is town with a bad start. His reactions to votes aren't necessarily scummy, but they aren't extremely town either. I'd say a null leaning town read overall.
Null read..
The only difference is that I worded it just a bit differently.
So, it's coincidental then that you have the exact same read on a player for the exact same reasons as two people who posted before you?
↑ Chrimi wrote:↑ Scigatt wrote:Mod: Can we get a votecount up?
I don't like this vote. The reasoning is bull, and you seem to ignore all the reasoning on it that came beforehand, and that rage seems over the top.↑ Chrimi wrote:Just kidding, of course.
VOTE: Lora
WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS:
Oh, I'm vanilla town. Everybody says that where I come from, so I could be lying.
You know what? I don't give a fuck where you're from, here we lynch ALL liars. And I hate it when people early claim VT even if they're a PR. Pisses me off.
Vote:Chrimi
I also don't get the hate against Blastoide. The non-game interaction with Chrimi is of course a null tell, and his behaviour on the Loranthaceae case doesn't seem odd, considering how early it is in the game.
The fuck.
How is my reasoning bull? You wanna fucking dance?
I can rage all I want. Also, I didn't ignore any reasoning beforehand. The excuse he gave was that where he came from they do shit differently, and I told him that I don't give a fuck because we're not where he's from, we're in a place that fucking lynches all liars.
Another note, if you're going to call my reasoning bull, at least fucking say WHY.
Also, you vote me for making that case, then say the case isn't odd? And I was raging at blastoide for spelling my name wrong, if you didn't see the "Kidding, of course" part.
You are trying way too hard at acting annoyed.
Yeah, not liking this either. It seems like a really forced attempt at a Town-tell.Show"One arrow alone can be easily broken, but many arrows are indestructible."

No, initially it was his 29 that interested me in that in him saying
I thought of it as gearing up to announce his suspicion of Lora, but then he flops to calling her a null-town read right after a few townies state that they read Lora as newtown. Thus he was acting "wishywashy" (I dislike this term, but I can't think of another way to put it).You saying this only makes me feel as if you are trying to hide something then. Now, we can't believe this statement.- Scigatt

Reading that post, it seems like all he wants is a link to Loranthaceae's previous site.↑ Shiidaji wrote:↑ Scigatt wrote:EBWOP:

It sounds more accusatory to me, if all he wanted was a link he would've asked.
He didn't say "Can we please, so we could get a better understanding of your site's meta?", in order to verify if that's what they do on that site, instead he opted to call her out for hiding something, which implied to me that he was suspecting her.- roflcopter

i think that attacking loran period is opportunistic on this count, so i was immediately suspicious of all four people who did it. greywing paved the way, which i found scummiest, and arugula should know better but keeps trying to drive this point home anyway. i don't really know anything about jal. i also highly doubt every scum in the game jumped on the same blunder in the first pages.soi soi soi

Ok, I'll bite. Your stuff and his post 127 are enough for me to vote for him at the moment. I believe that puts him at L-3.↑ Shiidaji wrote:It sounds more accusatory to me, if all he wanted was a link he would've asked.

Oh update: BK has 5 bloody posts which don't even give me a vibe to determine how he's scum or town. I'm questioning on how you get that read at all. >.>
Scum are often scared to post opinions or reads because they are scared to slip up, but will post super early town reads that sometimes often to not make zero sense.
Scum are often lurky and like to sheep off cases to avoid making their own. Yes, I have seen it before.

you give me nothing to respond to. "scum often do this because i say so," is not a debate anyone can have. thats not a real case, so i will be ignoring you. good try at starting a counterwagon to this righteous blastoise wagon though.
the exact place i decided that bk was town was post 48/49. read him in context not in iso.soi soi soi
