That terrible feeling when you start a game of LoL and within five minutes of the game starting both your roommates get on the computer and you have to try and help with 1500 ping while you watch the team fall apart.

I've gone eve twice both times in 3v3, and both times I went against another eve.
Both eves I went up against rushed trinity while I went sheen -> gunblade -> dfg -> rageblade. They were obliterated. I find it really satisfying to see that playing pre-rework eve is actually making playing current eve easier.

Edit: just had a malphite game where I was stuck between two options: ult and have my team be unable to follow through or just stand around dying. I was caught between myself and a hard place.
don't you feel silly now?

i laughed really hard at that malphite joke :)

my solo q malphite build is hilarious. 2gp10s into a GA and then just start stacking AP. 6/1 winrate, small sample size, give it a few more games to level out before calling it a thing.

Playing so much AD Sona right now.

Mixed results. Do well at my level, get super wrecked against lvl 30s

Sona's one of those weird champions that somehow works when built AP or AD, but not enough to be viable in any serious context.

Damn it's fun though.

AP Sona has burst issues, but has sustained damage which is weird for a squishy AP carry and doesn't really 'fit' if that makes sense. I like AP Janna to be honest. Although her purpose has gone down to an extent. She's only a good late pick if you know they are going something like Malz, Swain or AP Sion. She falls off very very quickly but absolutely rocks the early midgame and can make alot of strong AP carries useless in lower level games as she kind of functions similarly to AP Sion in that she can clear waves incredibly quickly. It doesn't take very long for her to be able to tornado a whole wave and instagib every non cannon minion. This might not seem overly impressive, but she has the awesome quality of being able to farm a whole minion wave under the enemy tower from only halfway up the lane. Which secures her cs and makes it very difficult for alot of ap champs to fun giving your team an inherent advantage. She doesn't carry by any means but she can severely shutdown alot of viable AP carries if you play to that idea.

I really like the new Sona. She was my favorite until the power chord nerf, but the reduced cooldowns and ult damage help a lot and make me feel better about picking her. I've won like 7 games in a row with her :D

Oh yes.

I mean, panzer, even when I'm jungling mummy, and I see they have lee, the first thing I think: hah, that's 2 blues first round. 80% of the lee's takes wolves > red then ganks top. The moment he gets into vision top I'm at wraiths, jump over quickly, take his blue, go b, take philo, take own red. If he doesn't gank? All the better, lee is strong at early levels, needs to make his game then, moreso as jungler even then as top.

If you have a half decent team, they'd ward the exit of my wraiths. But really, below 1200, who does that?

Apart from that, the easiest way to counter it is to kill the opposing jungler. Esspecially if you see the opposing jungler is slow and weak, you could go for something alternative. Wolves > Blue > his red > kill him when he gets out of wraiths, or gank mid if you can't find him. Clearing wolves, blue and red completely just gives you lv3, while the opposing jungler still has lv2.
Surrender, imagine and of course wear something nice.

So I've played a bit of ranked lately (1300-ish elo stuff mind you), and I've been first pick every time. And what I've been doing is banning from a pool of kennen (ALWAYS BAN KENNEN), malph, shen, shaco, [insert champs I don't like] before first picking soraka. I then (except for my last game where a guy picked blitz so he went mid with soraka I took blitz blah blah) trot my happy pony ass down to bot lane and proceed to have my ad carry shit all over the other guy.

I haven't seen soraka lanes do poorly since the dawn of time, and it's making me wonder about the dynamics of it. I understand blah blah soraka really easy gives sustain all day blah blah, but is this negated by ignite or a trist / mf pick? Would ignites in bot lane make this null?

The reason I'm wondering about it from the perspective of the other side is the fact I want to know how to deal with this situation if I come up against it. Do I just go with healing reduction in all the things? Do I just play hyper passive and avoid attempting trades? Do I go all or nothing fights to reduce the amount of lead the sustain will get the other guy?
don't you feel silly now?

@Frost: soraka has enough heals to counter an ignite, but if you time it right ignite helps. Countering soraka is more about picking people who can overcome her supreme defense. This is why soraka-graves is so damn powerful. Graves has a lot of survivability already and having soraka there means its almost impossible to beat. Playing against a lane like that, the focus should be more on farm than kills.

Trade when Soraka's heal is on cooldown and she contributes very little to the fight. If you have someone with a healing reduction, try to force Soraka to heal through it. If you have an aggressive bot lane, go aggressive as often as possible. If you can't go aggressive often enough to beat her heals, then just sit back and farm. Soraka's not very good at helping her carry trade with you, so you should be pretty safe.

Also, Blitzcrank. Soraka doesn't like Blitzcrank.
