I disagree, Sir Bastion, why would Gooner being an idiot mean that the power was faked.

I think it's a reasonable power, and It balances Shadow's and Axel's power. BC's power is stronger at the beginning of the game, and noticably weaker as the game progresses. The opposite for Shadow's and Axel's power that is weaker starting the game, and stronger as the game progresses.
