Nocmen case is that he said he wasn't voting Shadow because he didn't want the day to end. But then it turns out that wasn't true because he couldn't vote him anyway, due to already having 2 votes there.

I.e. he was making up a reason to cover his lack of hammer when there was no reason there. He's trying to be too smart by appealing to protown "allow the conversation to flow", whilst really he just doesn't want to hammer (a buddy? a town PR? --> the lack of hammer is null). If the real reason was because he had two votes placed, then he wouldn't have had to make up the stuff about not wanting the day to end.

He later goes on to say he'd put a third vote there if he could - what happened to wanting conversation?

You know what that tells me? You aren't reading my ISO/following the game. Double voted often until panda presented a good case against double votes. How can you possibly like double voting after we 6 out of 22 players managed to get Thor killed?

So, another day another disaster. Things are looking just peachy.

Guile should not have been run up so quickly. That was just dumb, especially the people putting 2 votes on him getting him into hammer range for scum-cougar. That hammer means there's virtually no way Guile is Mafia - unless the scum are so supremely overconfident at this point they are willing to just throw one of their own away which I don't believe at all.

This is a numbers game now and the margins are getting very slim. If we assume 4 Mafia - which is what I would assume in a 21 person game with these kinds of mechanics - we are 8 Town vs. 4 of them. (I mean, if it's 5 of them and only 7 of us I don't even think it's possible to win anymore. Three of them seems unlikely too)

One of them is SC. Duh.

Guile is now virtual confirmed Town.

So, this is leaving me looking at group of 9 people, at least 3 of whom are scum.

I have felt Nocmen was Town from N1 when 2 Townies died and Nocmen went to the Judge. I still have a hard time seeing the scum sending a fellow scum to the Judge rather than to either of the alternaties. Why would they? It didn't make any sense.

Now, the fact we have seen the scum have the power to mess with the results means it's still *possible*. We know SC got pardoned when the Jury convicted him. KoC says Thor died even though he pardoned him. It could be the scum have the ability to mess with each Judging body's results (once?) So they used their hypothetical "override the Executioner" on KoC N1. They used a hypothetical "override" the Jury for SC. And they *could* have sent Nocmen to the Judge planning to save him with a hypothetical "override the Judge" ability. But that seems like so much ability to manipulate results it seems like we could just never win from out of.

I still lean Town on Nocmen.

Blood: was Gooner, who I had a strong Town read on. Liked his early posting, re-reading of the thread. The claim seems plausible. Still leaning Town.

This is leaving me with a pool of 7 people, 3 of whom are very likely scum.

KoC: we still really only have his word for the whole "I pardoned Thor but he died anyway" claim. The fact the Jury got over-ridden does at least make his claim possible, but the fact is - if the scum had such an ability, then a scum KoC could claim just as he did, and know that the scum's ability to mess with results would be "proven" later. It would still be a risk for him to claim like that. If not believed he probably goes straight on the block. He's not "clear" by any stretch, but probably not the one to go in our last "slot" open for today.

Panda: I've thought was Town for a long time. His efforts at scum-hunting seemed genuine. He's also the only one who was pushing to acquit GreyICE last night, which it would have been very easy for a scum to just vote guilty and coast on that one. On the other hand, he pushed running up Guiile today, which now seems almost guaranteed to be wrong. Still, that's hindsight, and Panda is definitely not the lynch.

Next one I feel best about is probably DCLX. Just because he hasn't done anything overtly scummy I recall. Most of his posting has seemed reasonable. He could still be scum, but given that we only have one lynch left, there's no way we risk the game putting him on the block today.

I would say AV, DoomYoshi, Sir Bastion, Wrathchild are the only ones we should even be considering as possibilities today. With luck, there are 2 or even 3 scum in here. Voting for anyone else seems very wrong.
