I was going to leave it up for discussion if I reveal them now or wait.

Herr, why don't you wait to claim until there's a bit on that.

From your previous posts I believe I can see who they likely were, so I'm not that fussed if you hold out revealing until later, though I'd like to see them now.

I am however puzzled why one of the people I am thinking you protected would have been targeted by the night kill.

I say name targets after claims, but it really doesn't matter to me.

I'm VT.

Full disclosure of what's on Pasch's mind:

Night 1 was pretty simple. I had been inclined to believe Nhammen's arguments for most of day 1, and was firmly on his side against Ewo. What a shame that the Ewo v Wiibox debate wouldn't have helped either way. But either way, I was pretty sure there were scum on the Wiibox wagon, so I didn't want to protect any of them. Nhammen seemed like the most valuable person left, and he was the IC. The IC is always a good target. In my previous game as scum, I absolutely killed the IC (Nachomamma) on night 1. I didn't think I could get him lynched during the day. That's the scum game that Cheery cited earlier. Granted, scum here is in a much better position, but it still seemed like a reasonable choice.

And I was right. I targeted Nhammen on night 1.

Night 2 was somewhat more complex. Only two people were on both lynches, me and Cheery. So I looked at people I thought Cheery might want to kill. I didn't think they'd target Nhammen again, especially since Cheery had been a bit supportive of him. The other person Cheery had been supportive of was Jason. I'm pretty sure Cheery and Jason is our scumteam.

But the one who stuck out was Rudi. Rudi hasn't been so responsive to Cheery. I put myself in the mentality of who I needed around to keep the town lynches going, and who might be a liability. All of this on the assumption of being Cheery. And Rudi was the liability. Actually, I was the liability, but Rudi was second. Since I couldn't protect myself, Rudi was my target night 2. And he's alive, too.

Unless scum pulled a gambit specifically to out PRs through this massclaim and didn't kill anyone last night, Nhammen, Rudi, and I are all town. That my prediction, based on Cheery as scum, turned out right only further solidifies my thoughts about him, and Jason is a strong associative tell.

Vote: Cheery Dog

Not even waiting for the end of the claims because I'm almost entirely certain what everyone is going to claim.

PeEdit: Jason and Cheery's above conversation looks a bit like two scum trying to figure out why their kills keep not working.

P-edit: I was suspecting Johnny as the second choice from your lists of reads (nhammen I could definitely see being one of the protects). I had discounted him because of , but he was the third option I had given you after reading your ISO since that post wasn't actually much against him. (and he would have made no sense as the N1 protect).

If this is a scum gambit, Nhammen is certainly part of the scum team then, especially with his mass claim idea.

Pasch I'd still like to hear the other claims. Johnny boy is still up.

Waiting to see if CD has a good response, will likely vote after that. I just want to hear the rest of the claims

fixing this quote so that it refers to the correct person.

and no I don't have anything to retort that whole case with, because I have thought that exact same thing myself after both of my scumreads flipped town.
We need to be finish this massclaim off before you get to putting the game into LYLO by lynching me.

First the bold part, how does that make Cheery scum?

I am all for Cherry's play being bad after yesterday and him being possible scum, but really, because he was on both lynches he is scum?

Also wouldn't it be better to get cherry to claim next if that was how you felt?

As for the rest of it, so cherry is supportive of me and nhammen, i'm scum but nhammen isn't?

All of your tells are plain wrong (scum had to be on both lynches and being supportive=scum team)

Scum being on both lynches makes you and cherry scum, so that is wrong assuming you really are the town doc, so that tell is wrong by definition so you shouldn't use it, being supportive=scum team is wrong because of a thing called distancing and busing, tell me what benefit scum has of being supportive to there partner?

Vanilla Townie. (I'm saying the whole role name since it makes me feel like my post is being more useful).

Johnny can go back to being the next to claim now. (well since nhammen is now semi-confirmed town from pasch's claim obviously he is last)

Well, if you're so sure of it being a Dog/Jason team, then why did you want me to claim as second, instead of Dog or Jason?

Who cares? He managed to protect twice and that's what it's all about. Or are you saying you don't buy Pasch's claim?

I want to see Nhammen and Johnny claim before I make a definite decision on whether I buy Pasch's claim, but so far, it's looking good to me. I know from first-hand experience that scum can play smashingly on D1, but screw it up on D2.

No i was saying i don't buy his vote/reasoning for voting/protection reason, not the claim, the claim i am still waiting for everyone else to claim first.

I'm the doc.

City goes next.

Keep in mind that I have two people to talk about, who I saved both nights.
Just to let you know, this wasn't exactly smart. If Cheery is scum, then who he chose as the next to claim would give quite a bit of information regarding who is scum. Additionally, if the choice is between yourself and Jason, then either you go first as above, or Jason goes first, which is strictly better than someone you know is town going first.

CityElectric wrote:Well, if you're so sure of it being a Dog/Jason team, then why did you want me to claim as second, instead of Dog or Jason?
Yeah, this is quite odd.

Ummm... what? If he is town, then he is being honest about his reasoning. If he is scum, then he is lying about his claim. He is either lying about both or neither.

oh if he is town i don't doubt that he did protect then, my point was more that i doubt that reasoning so far as to possibly have him as a scum read, as the reasoning he has given for the protect was kinda bad, it may have saved someone (well if he is scum then it didn't save anyone he just no killed) but the reasoning just sounds off to me.

hence why i am also waiting for the rest of the claims.

I'm going to wait to make judgement until the rest of the claims happen. A wagon on the guy who's been everyone's constant throbbing townread makes me raise an eyebrow.

The last claim. I am also a VT.

Note: this means that our Doc is confirmed town. Also, his protects are pseudo-confirmed (for us to not be confirmed, scum had to have intentionally chosen to no-kill even with no knowledge of a Doc in the setup).

Everyone but me claiming VT is exactly how I expected this to go. Unless there was a cop who went under the radar thus far.

But of the 4 people left who aren't confirmed, Cheery and Jason are WAY scummier than Johnny and City.

is my scumminess based on tells related to cheery being scum or am i actually individually scummy as well as scummy with cheery?

I honestly don't think we should totally confirm the doc saves just in case there was a no kill, assuming that they attempted a kill N1 (which is most likely tbh) they may have risked being the doc's protect N2 for the WIFOM to seem confirmed.

Serious question: Why Cheery over Jason? With the amount of towniness he's been oozing I'm not really sure he's the right choice.

I'll have a look over the other 3 unconfirmed players to see which of them are most likely to be scum.

I would assume that I was kept alive because of my end of day 1 play since it led to scum getting another mislynch, and I feel that Jason's comments on my thoughts then there were valid.

This game will be in the bag as long as we don't lynch the two townies in that pool (or the scum fooled us by no killing night 2, but I don't see that happening).

I think it's likely to be city/johnny, but Jason could still be with either of them.

Also a heads up, I'm still town even if my play has dropped slightly, my role hasn't changed

looking near the end of day 1, I see I followed Jason onto the counter wagon to ewo of Wiibox, and then as Rudi was replacing in I was attacking city and changed to that counter-counter wagon which died.
I realise this is going back to probability again, however I am seriously doubting that both members of the scum team would be able to avoid votes outside of the early stages of a newbie game.

Today is the first time I have been voted.
Johnny & Jason were only voted by ewo after they had replaced in. (one of which was by mistake).
This leaves me to suspect City is on the scumteam since she gathered some votes under her own stream.

VOTE: CityElectric

and since I know I am town, this game is a instant win by lynching city, jason and johnny in any order.
