How is it that you have a null on me? A page back you told Spring that you thought that aforementioned vote that I put on DGB at the end of RVS was serious. That was long after I'd clearly explained over the course of several posts that it wasn't a serious vote. Either you (should) think I'm lying or you haven't been reading the thread. Explain please.

I thought your vote was serious, yes, and I find the reasoning to vote someone for such to be town-motivated.
I said that it looked serious to me, and was believable, not that it was actually serious (as you stated yourself)
However, your play thus far hasn't really been the best otherwise. You are likely town but it's not a solid read- thus null.

Reading through, some interesting things:
Piggy's reaction to the "dayvig" rings genuine town
DGB's "dayvig gambit" seems like a belivable tactic when dealing with someone like piggy, who seems newbish and likely to fall for such a thing.

Post #270 highlights some good points, and I specifically agree with the snippit on Telo, I had not caught on to that earlier.

What do people do when they don't know where to put their vote, anyway?

Well you use it to pressure people, or scumhunt by questioning, pressuring, and analyzing, then put it on your scumread. you can't expect other people to tell you who the scum are - you have to figure it out for yourself.

a good way to start? answer the question i bolded.

And... i'm not so sure if she's scum now. idk, idk. telo's not a bad option though.

I always say TBH for to be honest. it is a null tell. When I read it was after you did admit it was a fake. So it seemed almost immediate to me.

As for DTM's fake poisoning of my cop lover Action Dan, he kept it up for a very long time afterword. The only reason I finally knew it was fake, was cause Dan and I did not die that night, like he said we would. Plus he kept pushing that though poisoner is normally a scum role, that there are town poisoners too and even found a link or two.

well as I said, there's been some counter balance to you just being "town"considering some of your later posts since that time have been a bit iffy.
but whatevs, I'm too out of it to really argue about it so I wont.

Tammy wrote:Did you notice that sucrose's post 64 was two minutes after post 63 and referenced a post 20 posts before? You say she didn't comment in the few posts before, but is there any indication that she had gotten that far in her read and was intentionally ignoring it at that point?

Maybe that one is understandable but the others were over a wider period. My main concern was that Sucrose's post just copied mine taking no account of interactions between Seastorm and Piggy since then.

Tammy wrote:Amrun votes her Thursday night and camn votes her Friday morning, it's Friday morning that sucrose comments/votes sea storm. If she was so worried by the pressure and needed to do something about it, why didn't she do it Thursday night?

Because one vote doesn't constitute "pressure"? And it's possible she didn't see that first vote until after the second had been placed anyway.

Tammy wrote:And you may consider that your vote was a comment on the wagon, and in a way it was, but it's not really and you've still avoided commenting on it. You still have not commented on what you think about piggygirl and the wagon on her. You've said what you the each vote is, but that's not the same thing.

I did comment on the wagon, in the very post you are responding to. As for Piggy I had a null read on her. That's more of a town read now in the light of her reaction to the fake dayvig.

In post 162, RachMarie accuses Telo of "focusing so much on defending Piggy". But when asked to explain this she only mentions a couple of posts where Telo does not comment on Piggy. From this and one or two other things I'm getting a scummy vibe here.

camn wrote:What is terrible about it?
Scum get nervous and coach all the time! And its one of the very few early tells I think are reliable!

Why would scum need to coach in thread when they have daytalk?

DrippingGoofball wrote:RL excuses is beating the critics to the punch with a pity party The player betrays a lack of confidence in their current and future performance. They come up with unverifiable excuses and sad stories about having no keyboard and whatnot to shield themselves from scrutiny.

Or they could be just telling the truth. I see it as a null tell unless there is reason to believe otherwise.

flinter wrote:And, while rereading, there is the thing that I see too many scum. Huntress would be my best bet at the moment, I really don't like her 154.

What didn't you like about it?

Eidolon wrote:Reading meta, noticed a contradiction. shows she's actually voting based off her own reasoning. townish.

Do you think basing a meta on a single game is townish? Especially in this case where a comparison would be called for.

Currently leaning scum in varying degrees on the following:

Brandi
Camn (Although I don't agree with some of the points made about her)
Flinter
Fujiko
MathGirl277/Katty Bard
RachMarie
Seastormjt
Sucrose

Yeah, that makes sense. Though, I skimmed through a lot of her games and it seemed she had replaced in to most past the first post stage, so no type of similar post to refer to.
Regardless, I think bacongirl is town.

Brandi and Sucrose, though that may change when I've taken a closer look at some of the others.

No similar post. Yet you originally voted her quoting that meta. Why was that?

UNVOTE:
Currently null on Seastorm, my only concern is that her Piggy vote was wagon-y. There are bigger fish to fry.

But you didn't have evidence that she didn't do the same thing as town, so you couldn't call it a scum tell, yet you voted her for it.

I guess you are right, that wasn't very logical on my part.
But I feel my vote was not useless, as it served the purpose of garnering a reaction to get a better read on her. Which was enough for me to move my vote elsewhere shortly after.

Telo wrote:As soon as I have a strong scum read I'll be placing my vote there and it will very likely stay there until the end of the day.
So far who I'm leaning towards and why.
Piggy
for reasons I've already stated and don't need to repeat.
Spring
- post 90 just seems pushy and mean. I know pushing is part of the game but that post seems strategic.
DGB
because I really hate the term Hos. Usually people use that type of term to make themselves look better by putting others down.
Bunnylover
for hanging back the most
MathGirl
because I hate it when people put tiny font in their post. I can see that it's there but I can't see what it says and it makes me feel like they're doing it on purpose to hide something but then be able to claim that they weren't hiding it.

Telo, why were you defending Piggy if she's one of your scum reads? And are these other reads serious??

Katty. I don't know what you mean by defending Piggy so I don't really know how to answer that. Can you please point out what you think of as my defense of her? Not only is she one of my scum reads, but I'm voting her so I don't know what you mean by defending her.

I know you said the piggy vote was wagon-y but honestly I didn't get the dayvig joke that cleared her in everyone else's eyes. I'd be really appreciative if you could explain it.
