Only ward bot lane bushes when you really need bush vision and have no way of getting bush control (laning vs blitzcrank comes to mind).

I'd ward at the very least the bush closest to your tower if you're getting zoned, and I'd ward the bush closest to their tower if you're zoning them.

Playing AS a Blitz against another team, I'll ward both bushes so I have LoS to grab things that try and hide there. Similarly I'll ward both if I'm playing against a Blitz or a Leona.

Beyond that, there's no real need to ward the bot bushes, especially if you as a support are able to safely* act as a living ward in a bush.

This. And I always ward the river when I'm support, but that should be a duh.

Fair enough. I didn't say I was right, it's just the way I tend to play it. I hate letting the team down, so if I can prevent myself getting jumped on by warding all the bushes, I do.

That costs money. Maybe you help your team more by getting philo a back earlier, then having more wards for around dragon and baron fights.
Surrender, imagine and of course wear something nice.

It's better in general than always having to be a living ward. Worth the 75g in early game, maybe not a second time.

You don't
always
have to be a living ward. If your lane is strong enough to zone the opposing lane, you can easily chase their support out any time they try to stand in the bush. Plus, the bush is frequently the best place for you to stand anyway. I can understand sneaking a ward into the second bush while they're not watching if you're a really aggressive support and want the element of surprise, but I would much rather save 75 gold than ward a bush I'm too lazy to occasionally stand in.

Not too lazy, cautious etc.

I guess it depends on who I'm zoning with.

I guess it depends on who I'm zoning with.

I think maybe you don't know what zoning means?

If you're zoning the opposition to their tower then lane bush vision is completely irrelevant - you own both bushes and they can't be approached from lane since you have vision all the way to their tower. You'll instead want wards at tribush and dragon to watch for incoming ganks to break your zone.

If you're zoming the opposition from midlane then you should be using bush vision to your advantage in your zoning, which means you control that bush directly. You'll have total vision of the other via your AD carry and lane creeps, so again you just need to ward tribush and dragon.

so I dunno what you're talking about....?

edit:

Lady Lambdadelta wrote:Beyond that, there's no real need to ward the bot bushes, especially if you as a support are able to safely* act as a living ward in a bush.

If the lane is frozen in the middle and you've had no vision on the opposing jungler for some time it is advisable to ward the far bush, as he may be lurking there attempting to lane gank. This is entirely independent of the opposing support.

So Kog'Maw is fun.

I may just go ahead and buy him instead of Jayce (since I've had my eye on Kog for forever anyway).

A cute little ribbon on your thing during the loading screen, but you have to get a certain amount. It doesn't really do anything.

I haven't played a game since the thingy popped up, so maybe it was informing me I got the ribbon?

Riot's investigated all alleged instances of players cheating by looking at the minimap

Highlight: AzF fined $30,000 for AzF Woong looking up at the minimap during the TSM game. Riot found that:

AzF Woong violated the rules by looking at the stage screens. His actions yielded benefits for AzF in the game. Other members of AzF modified their gameplay based upon the information.

I heard somewhere that only the enemy team can see Honorable Opponent tags.
If you want to make sure just do a custom with someone. On the champ select they should see it.

edit: I just got Honorable Opponent too. :D
