Both of your teammates had 12 deaths, so I really doubt either of them dc'd 5-10 minutes in. That would be some very impressive power feeding.

If you really think one game where my idiot teammates fed someone proves Teemo is viable on Twisted Treeline, you're insane. I won a game where someone last second audibled from Sivir into Gangplank, and we didn't have an ADC. Does that suddenly make the "no ADC" strategy viable?

Teemo doesn't do anything if you're paying the least little attention to him. And if everyone is tanky and groups up, Teemo just sits in the back and goes "pew pew, I wish I had a real weapon." I mean what's he doing, a few hundred DPS when everyone has 4k+ HP? What CC does he bring? A small utility that shuts down right click. Does he bring huge burst? No. Sustained damage? Well, decent sustain. Really though, he's just not adding anything when the laning phase is done, and on TT there barely is a laning phase (fights become 2v2 or 3v3 in a whole hurry, when everyone starts clashing).

The issue you're probably running into is one of builds, the teemo that is viable on TT is one that's build looks something like;

Ninja Tabi, Wit's End, Frozen Mallet, Zeke's Herald, Aegis of the Legion, Malady/Bloodrazor's

He's fairly tanky and between kiting with FMallet, shrooms and blinding dart he's able to keep stuff off him while he pewpews with his on-hit damage.

Pure damage Teemo on the otherhand just gets run over.

He has to get there first, and rengar can kill burst him to 20% level one lol.

I gotta say, besides some extremely specific characters where teemo's ranged and speed lets him kite (Ie someone without a real gap closer) like Darius and olaf, and then if you mess up once and they get a kill on you early, then you'll STILL lose the lane. Anything teemo really brings to the table I feel like Jayce and Nid brings in a better way.

How exactly does the Rengar reach the Teemo before he has his ult?

In response to the edit; Jayce is fucking stupid as all hell with his knockback and is pretty much release Irelia cranked to 11 and then given steroids, using him as a balance point there is no reason to take anyone else top.

Editedit: I've got around 40 games as Rengar played and whenever his ult is down he's terrible against anything with range because they just kite him to death. Darius at least has his grab and a built in frozen mallet, Regnar just has a short ranged 40% slow on a long cooldown. You can't be in the bush threatening and CSing at one time, it's one or the other and ranged heroes are able to CS without every getting in leap range of a bush. So you're forced to leap onto CS to get them then eat an auto or two until you can make it back to the bush.

Jayce is beast on every gametype due to his kit. He is the poster boy of utility creep.

He just goes into a bush? Have you played the matchup? It's really not that hard. His jump range is outrageous. Like long enough to stop Teemo from following even after one auto if you're remotely close.

If you don't build AP you straight up lose the lane, and then you only do ok because Blinding dart is long enough for mushroom to arm and let you kite.

His leap range is 600, it's really not outrageous at all.No matter where in the lane the creeps are a ranged hero can safely farm from out of leap reach and far enough away from the wave that he can't jump onto a minion and then easily reach them.

He suffers the issue many bruisers do against teemo which is they need to eat an autoattack or two whenever they want to CS and can't hard engage on him due to blind / difference in move speeds. They just get whittled down from the harass and need to continually use their resources to sustain rather then putting pressure on. Rengar has no reliable gapcloser without his ult and has to spend his ferocity on battle roar for sustain rather then his Q for damage or E for CC.

I think the issue here is I've played it from the Rengar side and seen his shortfalls in the lane and you've played it from the Teemo side and just seen how brutally he can punish so we have very different biases but I personally would never pick Rengar into a Teemo and if possible would switch over to jungleRengar and let someone pick into the Teemo if a Teemo was picked into me.
