Aren't you guys supposedly friends with each other? Or do you actually hate each other and you're all just from the same site so you still play games together anyway? I can use him as an example because I like him and we get along, but I don't want Zito to pussyfoot around, I want exactly what I got: power fist ganking mid at lv 2 trying to FB my dumb overextending ass! I know he's a good player and I want his best game. That's not tryharding, it's just playing the game. Speaking of that, I'm not sure if it gets more "tryharding" combined with "its just an inhouse" than having a go4lol tournament team botlane against random MS. I'm not a 7 yr old make a wish kid asking for a game of 1 on 1 with Kobe and then feebly taking the open shots he gives me. If you can beat me, more power to you. I got like 0-7'd vs Studio with each of us giving it our best shot, guess what, I thought it was awesome and he was super nice about it and talked to me about the matchup. The only way to get better is to play someone better.

Different people respond to situations differently, and I would stop short of calling it "bullying", but there was just a mean-spirited edge to the wait between the two games last night, as people made tons of excuses to not take part in the second game. My response was instantly to talk ridiculous shit like, "Come on guys, let's get them to give us their best shot and then smash them like any other bronze soloqueuers", but other people are more passive and they got an earful from me for their strategy of "lets stall the start as long as possible, pick a team that can't win, and then stall some more" taking an hour of my life when they should have said "Hey, I don't want to play this way again".

All I could picture was how much fun it would have been if me and Panzer were on opposite teams. If it was a serious game, we'd each be happy to have a good person on the other team, and if it was a "just for fun it's only an inhouse" then it would be a slaughterhouse of trying to one-up the other guy in the most ridiculous fashion possible. Rengar v Bugman, any other 8 people in the world, split pushing is for pussies, come at me bro!

I play racquetball all the time against a guy I can't stand personally, because he gives me a great game. There has to be some kind of balance between "plays a competitive game" and "game for fun with friends", because last night was neither of those things for a lot of people. There's no way I'm going to feel bad for being the best midlaner in a game and playing my favorite champ mid when it's against 4/5 of a team that actually practices together. I'm not froggen, I'm just one half of the best 1100 tag-team in the world..

ITT Panzer doesn't understand what the concept of "no shittalking" is, and where it applies (or when its probably really really jokingly).

But then again, who the fuck is surprised.

How can any shit talk be even remotely funny or friendly during a game that is a free win because the other team didn't want to play because you berated them for tryharding when they crushed you.. Frog was on Tiamats Soraka and Afk'd 5 minutes into the game cause he didn't even want to play the game. Andrius sold his items 3 times. Lil G was on a guy he pretty much never plays. And PEG is shouting out "that's what you get for flashing my move" and other annoying shit all game. You're playing against a team which 4/5ths of them don't even want to play you guys because you were sore losers. Quaroath starting talking shit too, and the game previous he went 0-7 in lane. 0-7. Think about that for a second then get back to me, Quaroath.


I definitely understand the concept of no shittalking, but I also understand the concept of not being a dick to people on your friend's list for no reason. One team got butthurt that they got crushed so they made it as unenjoyable as possible for the other team, and then shittalked the whole game they won when they got the other team to not take the game seriously at all.

I was pretty disappointed when I couldn't make the in-houses and was surprised to see they were still happening when I finally got on, but when I spectated the second game I was actually relieved I wasn't in on it because it was disgusting. The entire purple team pretty much told me that the second game was a waste of time and was completely unfun

So yeah continue to tell me I don't understand people and don't understand shittalking or post shitty pictures and ignore what i'm saying, but the fact of the matter is that one set of players took a game that was supposed to be fun practice with friends and made it unenjoyable for half of the people involved because of poor sportsmanship. That simply fact that those people did that to people they are friends with and then hold the opinion that you shouldn't shittalk soloqueue shows that they are hypocrites. But let's make sure everybody remembers that I'm the asshole here.

A.) They didn't have to play and I certainly didn't try to force any of them too. At no point did I even encourage that people play if they didn't want too.
B.) You didn't watch the first game (where we pretty much had a ridiculous team comp where everyone played their worst roles and they picked anivia ashe and sona, to go with rengar and xin) and were giving us crap about winning.
C.) We PICKED about as shitty a comp as we could. Same for the second lane.
D.) I think anyone that plays with me knows I'm about as bad an mid as anyone else on the site. I suck at it. I give Zito a run for the money.
E.) Laning was 0/2/2, so fuck you very much. Not getting last hits is what it is. And Anivia is Anivia. And I haven't played tf in over a year. I hit random until i got a mid.
F.) I was playing a first time character in a lane I 've played probably twice in 4 months.
G.) Did I mention you weren't in this games, if anyone playing has a beef with ti and wants to say something they can and I'll actually address it.

I was going to make a point about toxic attitudes and whatnot, but I'm going to quickly go over facts and go do something else because goddamnit it's my birthday today, I've got a lot of preparations and fundraising to do for Extra Life tomorrow, and the last fucking thing I want to be doing right now is being forced into a situation where I have to respond to pointless drama on behalf of the team.

The facts are simple in terms of toxic attitude. Prior to Panzer's abandonment of ONM, our standard night of practice went one of two ways:

Win game > Yay!
Lose game > angry rage and Panzer drops from the skype call with no chance of discussion

Post-transitory period wherein I was questioning my commitment to the game (I don't think anyone quite realizes how much of a damper the abandonment put on my willpower when I was the one trying to figure out a way to play the match we had scheduled while feeling like it was my fault that I didn't to more to keep the team together when I tried

) and we were adjusting to scot (not going to lie and say that everything was 100% fine at first; we had some major arguments at first). our standard night of practice goes one way:

Win or lose game > Discuss what went wrong and play more.
