All within 3 minutes makes me look active? Sorry, I usually edit my posts on forums that allow it, for obvious reasons cant do that here. And If I am posting often I am active, there is no 'looking' at all.

You
should
care (atleast a lil') since if you know that you are town then you should try to not appear scummy and A.) NOT get yourself mislynced and B.) make other townies think you are scummy thereby letting scum slip by sice the attention is on you.

Even if you are playing "scummy" to bolster your scum meta you should be policy lynched.

If ya'll really have that much of a problem with multiposting, you're going to be in for a hell of a game.

JacobSavage wrote:What does anyone else think?

I think your list is incomplete. It has a notable lack of N, Untrod Tripod, theamateur, and Plan B (all of whom have contributed significantly to this game). Now, I know that you have no problem with telling us that you have a null read on someone, so you must be leaving these people out for some other reason. What is it?

I'd also like some explanation on your Nero Cain read. What do mean by "wanting to avoid a mislynch"?

NC: a bit opportunist with his voting, but I see no wrong/fallacious arguments there. Not many posts, and they all relate to Senjai, so I'd expect a bit more variety next, to provide more analysis on other players, for example.

DC: Not much contributing to the game so far, but helped to create a counter wagon to Senjai, kudos for that. I get his arguments about NC, but I still think his vote could be better explained. I want more scumhunting from him, not just some commentary on the game. Plus, wth is up with the double displacement reaction?

Plan B: liked the exchange with Piggy and Senjai, don't get why he'd move the vote to jacob without mentioning him. Want more explanation on that part

anxiety: not much so far. want to see reasons for her vote, as he mentions addorkable zero times other than the vote, and calls piggy scummy but does nothing on it

Jacob: derp derp derp. Want to see something meaningful here. managed to post nothing but shit so far. keeps a vote on Senjai but calls him null, and calls other players scummy. very undecided as to who he should call scummy. here is a good place to move my vote for now

unvote, vote: Jacob

@Jacob: why do you keep your vote on senjai if you call others possibly scummy?

@Demon Core. 1, they're not in any order at all. 2, i read you post, didnt make any sense to me so I ignored it. Also I gave up giving null reads after about 2 as it was going to just get a bit repetative.
Also N has not really much (by my recgoning 3 post or something?). In regards to NC, I read #46 as town trying to avoid a mislynch, by being cautious. Caution is good.

@ToonFighter. I have nothing but shit unfourtunatly, there is really nothing much I can find, I have spent a good 2 hours going through each persons posts (don't think i got down to Tripod, I had to cook dinner and that took longer than expected) and it was difficult enough to try and justify my thoughs rather than just state what is my gut instinct.
Second of all, I havent moved my vote because currently there is nothing worth moving it too.

Also going to be away from now too Sunday evening, might have some access but not much. Will post when possible.

Hey JS I wanted to wait till you replied. I also was waiting for you to mention #46. Him voting without a valid reason is not trying to avoid a mislynch, its trying to lynch. Without much merit. So I don't understand your thinking on that, maybe you can help me understand. I wouldnt call blindvoting cautious. And he still has that vote on me. You said that there is nothing worth moving your vote to in #46 and its good you stuck to that story, but that was over 50 posts ago, nothing has changed?

JS: I want to hear you explain your thoughts on NC in more detail.

You ignoring a post doesn't make it not exist.

Re: the null reads: Still doesn't make much sense to me as to how you chose who to include. It doesn't look like you went down the playerlist in the first post (N would have been on the list). N, doomyoshi and Plan B all have more posts than anxiety, yet none of them made the list, so it wasn't based on activity. What was it based on?

Re: NC's post 46: I thought Senjai was one of your null reads. What's all this about avoiding a "mislynch"? And if he's actually
making
the vote in this post you're referencing, how is that avoiding a lynch at all?

Unless I'm misunderstanding and you're talking about "cautious" voting and saying that's a town tell. You're wrong, that's actually a scumtell.

@Demon I based my list on the first post then whent through each individual post in alphabetical order, and when there was much i skipped them.
I also based it on what my gut said as I was reading through the posts. Nothing more than that. In recards to why certain people didnt make the list, it was becaues there was nothing worth commenting on.

@Senjai I also think not much has really happened, yes its been 50 posts buts thats only like 2 pages. Most of that was just waffle.
In my experience it is generally a town tell, in my opinion although that was formed from games over two years ago so much might have changed. My view of NCs cautious post is twon because i have used that same line as town ages ago. That is all.

@TheAMateur, care to expalin why I am scum and NC is not or will you just hop on the wagon?
-------------------------------------------------------
Also here is my full list of observations, taken directly out of my document. Enjoy:
N (Null)
1. Questioning, no issue
2. Asking questions, good (slightly scummy?)
3. Caution, good

4nxi3ty (Possibly Scum)
1. Late to Party, Misunderstanding RVS (#51)
2. Looking for someone to start a bandwagon(?) (#64)
3. Refusal to move vote, not that scummy (#88)

Nero Cain (Probably Town)
1. Self Vote, RVS (#4)
2. Soft Accusation on Senjai, not really much, null (#30)
3. Showing Maturity, Agreeing with others rather than just looking for fights, seemingly wanting to try not to have a mislynch. (#46)
4. Angry towards Senjai, wanting a Senjai lynch. Must have reasons, unlikely to be doing it as newb scum.

DoomYoshi (Nullish)
1. Reasonable points, not much else (#66)
2. Pressuring N to vote? (#85) Scummish?

Theamatuer

PlanB
1. Looking for easy wagon? Or Town with tell?
2. Hunting for clues?
3. Just questions
4. Hmmmm need more info
5. bALnk (#38)
6. Question to me :D (#50)
7.

Number Six

PiggyGal15
1. RVS (#5)
2. RVS (#11)
3. Descides Senjai is town (NB: If Senjai Scum, Piggy likely to be Scum too) (#29)
4. Post about Snejai Town, defence
5. Waffle
6. Waffle
7. More Waffle
8. Yawn!

Cletus + Brandine (Scum)
1. RVS? (#41)

Untrod Tripod

Adorkable (Neutral)
1. RVS Post, train noises (#17)
Toon Fighter

Demon Core (Slight Scum)
1. Confusing triple post about a displacement reaction and (#43-45)
2. Stating vote was serious (#62)

Senjai

(never got around to do)

Toon Fighter wrote:don't get why he'd move the vote to jacob without mentioning him. Want more explanation on that part

That's not entirely true. I did get after him for that awful .

Aside from that is that he made that post right after the Vote Count which showed Senjai at L-2, and didn't feel compelled to even mention it or move his vote, but later on disclaimed any responsibility for that vote by saying he just didn't have a better place to put it.

After my vote, continued scummy behavior with what has already been pointed out as an "incomplete list". It makes absolutely no sense to not comment on me as I was the first player to vote for him, without giving any explanation. Feels to me like he just doesn't want to engage, whereas a more natural Townie reaction would be to take issue with something like that.

JacobSavage wrote:

Having lots of difficulty reading him, hes not standing out other than that he posts a lot, I would call him a null currently

So overall If I had to choose a top 3 I would say:
Anxiety, Demon Core and Cleutus.

What does anyone else think?

That it makes absolutely no sense for you to still be voting Senjai with the following justification:
JacobSavage wrote:Second of all, I havent moved my vote because currently there is nothing worth moving it too.

Basically, you just admitted that your "reads" were entirely made up and not even worth
you
paying attention to. Which means you posted that for the sake of giving an appearance of contributing.

Which makes you scum.

So, I think you should swing from a rope.

Agreed

VOTE: JS

Theamateur, My top scum read was TF, but as of late I'm not so sure anymore. His response after my gambit was pretty solid and he handled it pretty well in my opinion. Even if my gambit wasn't the best. You say NC isnt scum? I want to know why you don't think so. JS and NC were the last on my wagon, both with illegitimate reasons. If JS flips scum i'd say he slipped up and was trying to defend NC (which isn't really possible given his reasons for my vote) and or wagon with NC.

Senjai wrote:This is foolish. Let me explain. You can ONLY RELIABLY GENERATE SCUM READS IN RVS BY KNOWN META there is a keyword in there, figure it out. Scum can say their scum in RVS and it won't matter. If you play with Person X for three years, you get a very good idea on how he acts in RVS when scum versus when town. Your saying, this guy is scum because he didn't capitalize after the third period in his paragraph. You find scum by testing their consistency, and catching them lying or going against arguments previously made. None of this can happen in RVS.

No. It doesn't take "meta knowledge" for someone to have a scum read. As an example its a somewhat common scumtell for a player to keep or try to keep in "RVS" after discussion has started. That doesn't take "meta". I've been in many many many games where myself and other random townies think player X is scum for whatever reason. According to your logic that's impossible to do since it requires "meta". Just stop. Your argument is wrong.

I'm not looking for agreement. I'm
sexy
right and I know it. If someone can say their scum, barring obvious scumslips like roleclaiming and mentioning a qt, and that can or could not be a scum tell it's up in the eye of the perceiver. Perception != truth. Getting your perceptions correct reliably requires knowledge of the player and his personality. End of discussion. If you disagree, thats fine

That is so cute. A 2012 player thinks he knows more about the happenings of this site then someone that’s been here for that last two years. So are you an alt and pretending to be new? I’ll let you “win”. I don’t really care but you aren’t right. And you took the whole conversation and turned it on its head. Piggy was all “oh only scum can call people scum this early!!!” Which is an obvious load of manure. Your “well she’s wrong but she’s also right…’cause they gotta know meta to be right!” is pretty dumb and doesn’t have anything to do with what was being discussed at all.

I am how I am. I always talk and act this way. This is why meta plays a part.

If you always act scummy regardless of alignment we can’ read “meta” which is the whole point….

Sounds like your angry all of a sudden because your my #1 scum read.

I’m really not. Maybe a lil’ annoyed since I hate players that purposely play scummy but I’m not “mad”. But lest disscuss this.

Nero Cain:
Slight
scum read.

Unipod Tripod: scum read

Of course you have my on top of UT but I’m listed as slight. Explain please.

Now, when I gave these reads I was lying.

Tow should never lie. GTFO.
I changed my vote to Nero Cain (dont get me wrong NC, I still think your scumtastic) and expected him to hop on. Had he have done this I would make it my lifes desire to have him lynched.

You expected TF to jump on me and this would somehow confirm me as scum or what the hell is this?
