Hey Thor, are you a part of the Town?

Zdenek 2. Sixty explained that they think that scum likes to use meta in the manner where they point to specific examples to draw conclusions.
3, They then proceeded to point to an example of GreyICE's town play to argue that he is scum here.
Sixty It is about patterns, trends and motivations
Zdenek
You think that town doesn't say things that they don't mean.
makes me think you were making stuff up that you don't really believe.
You two do not seem to know how meta actually works. It is not about cherry-picking through games to find the perfect match. It is not about getting three scum games and pointing to Exhibit A in Unique Instance #42; scum love to do that, when that is not effective, Town-rooted meta work; a player's meta is a fluid thing, and scum and Town 'behaviors' will migrate back and forth. It is about patterns, trends and motivations. Talking with GreyICE, in and out of game, will show that when he is truly trying to puzzle something out (i.e. scumhunting), he analyzes things thoughtfully. He analyzes players, behaviors and, most importantly, motivations. He is not doing that here in regards to ICEninja (and, on a slightly lesser level, curiouskarmadog). These lynches are incredibly easy, and Grey is throwing a tantrum and a bitchy fit every time he replies to one of their posts instead of truly looking at how likely their posts are to come from an alignment or another. He is arguing to win an argument. This is not Town GreyICE.
kortul, a brief example - Grey's attitude here does not match how his read on greenknight, Zang and jason evolved in Doctor Who. That alone should be ringing alarm bells for a good chunk of this playerlist. It's rabid tunneling, fake anger. There is nothing here that feels like Righteous Town GreyICE.
We will reserve discussion on other players for later times, as they are not relevant at present.

Several things:
1) The role does not make sense as scum; it is a Town role that has a goal of extracting information from the dead;
2) It is trackable. If he ever gets tracked to/watched at someone alive, jason is dead; it is one of the major reasons scum don't often claim coroner;
3) It is very much a role that MoI would put in this game. Not just because of the flavor, but because of this section of MoI meta:This "Voices of the Dead" thing is about Destiny Mafia. A certain mechanic allowed the dead Townies to make a single post on a specific Day. This dead-post included the results the dead PRs had, and dead-Tierce's reads nailed two scum.↑ MagnaofIllusion wrote:The Charlie the Mafia Scumbag Show
Brought to you by your Host – Magnaofillusion
This show is brought to you in two acts. Each is important. Pay close attention to them.
Act 1 – The Voices of the Dead.
Very often Nightkills are paid too little heed in this game. Tierce once spoke for the Dead in a way the fucked Scum over hard. I’m going to honor her by doing that again.
Let’s look at the players who each Dead Townie suspected on the Day before they crocked.

This is very obviously a role MoI would put in, since he was aware of the effects of a similar mechanic in Destiny Mafia; it is much less likely to be a fakeclaim. In addition, we believe that jason's minor mistakes about his role do not mean anything; he is no less likely to mess up a Town role than he is a full-fledged fakeclaim.
It is getting to be a distraction. Stop voting jason and start voting actual scum. We suggest beginning with GreyICE. Follow our nose, etc.
