Majiffy, the closest example I have of fizz's play I have is a scum game of cooldog's modded by ckd. I can't recall a game where town played like that. Either way, I haven't seen it from fizz as either town or scum so meta doesn't really apply. Even if it did, saying I've seen it as town is completely false. Also, I must be scum claiming because I think aether is town.

Aether, it's not about benefiting town. Psycologically speaking, if you are town and someone calls you scum, you already know they are wrong. This triggers something in your brain that maybe they are "wrong" because they are scum out to get you lynched because in your mind there is absolutely nothing that is scummy about you and they must be scum for thinking otherwise. Now you think they are scum and vote them solely because they voted you first. I personally have a very hard time reading people who think I am scum when I am town because I am aware of this bias and I am also aware that scum will attack me from time to time and I am terrible at telling the difference. Point is, this bias is OMGUS when it happens and it exists from a town point of view. One of many examples.

I haven't seen Fizz before, so his reactions could be any sort of newb tell, I'll grant that it could be scummy. I can't decide if he missed that I threw a second vote on Breakfast way back, didn't fall for the bait and didn't jump on a counter wagon, or is scared to vote anywhere because he might look even more scummy.

Aether is just there to cost whichever side he is on a lynch somewhere along the way. I'm not getting sucked in. I also think its foolish to think that reading the role descriptions is scummy. I just completed a game where the mod screwed up one of the role PMs and we had to live with the way it was written for that game, even tho its not how the role is typically used. The guy who caught the error was the town doc, and it was not his role that was messed up.
