Anyone got advice for me on how to play Graves and/or Varus properly? I seem to be having problems on knowing on when to push and when to be aggresive, and sometimes even on when to be defensive or when to retreat. I feel like these are the main things holding me back, as I know how to build them and all but I just don't think I have the timing and execution down right to play them well and effectively.

Hmm. I was thinking for the new LoL thread, maybe edit in links to the first post made with a new patch released, so that you can browse it in a timely matter? (Obviously, we wouldn't be able to do it at the start, but we could reserve space for it.) Second post is all of our usernames, third is an FAQ and links to various posts of interest. Is this about what everyone was thinking?

I've got a few drafts bumming around and that to me seemed the most solid.

When to push: Your lane opponents are dead OR you need to go back to buy/heal.
When to be aggressive: You have a health/item/mana advantage on your opponents AND you know that the enemy jungler is not nearby.
NEVER push or be aggressive if you do not know that it is safe to do so. This is not limited to warding; pushing or being aggressive when the enemy Twisted Fate is missing is a good way to get yourself killed, regardless of how good your ward coverage is.
If you do not have proper ward coverage or if you can't out-trade the enemy laner, it's time to be defensive. This means standing behind your minions and only last-hitting when it is safe to do so. Yes, you might miss that caster minion that is standing behind the enemy ezreal for god knows what reason, but it's better than losing half your health for one minion.

my friends and I decided we wanted to do the SNOW COMP and asked the random if he had voli and he was like "no... oh wait I do!" and then he picked him, but my other buddy locked in TWITCH instead of ashe :I HE RUINED IT! somehow we won though.
