That last post about sums up my thoughts on Fe. While I've considered the possibility he is scum, the post he is being wagoned for is what made me second guess those suspicions.

I don't like Majiffy #279 -- this seems like an admission that it's plausible that Kmd genuinely misinterpreted Fizz's nervousness. Why is Kmd scum for doing this? This is some serious confirmation bias if you're town. I have pretty much 0 interest in a Kmd lynch today anymore.

It's more an admission that it's plausible I'm wrong about KMD. Your statement about confirmation bias doesn't make sense given the scenario no matter how you look at it, though.

Also, Re: LS, his jump on the Fizz wagon.

I know! did you see where I questioned majiffy about it cos instead of just announcing it was a policy vote he tried to make out like he genuinely saw aether as scummy.

Inside of the game, not much is going on. I'm going to respond to any questions and comments directed at me.

the director, why are you saying (I assume) that Fe's wanting to replace out is scummy, asking others to lynch, but not putting your vote there?

1. I did throw down a vote on Fe, which is where my current vote is.
2. It isn't so much him wanting to replace out, Fe is simply trying to stall so can avoid having to say anything of substance so the suspicions on him go away. I'll explain the logic on this later on in the post.

I can't really get inside the director's head at all. Definitely not seeing why #308 should be some back breaking straw.

Here is what I am seeing. Read Fe's ISO and see what he has posted. Its fluff, its nothing. He literally, had said nothing of substance. He had been called out only hours prior to him posting #303 and #304 which means he is monitoring the game.

So I called for his lynch. One of two things were going to happen:

1. A bump-on-the-log town would be motivated to post in order to avoid posting (or replace out).

or.

2. A bump-on-the-log scum would be scared into posting more.

Both these scenarios made sense to me.

Now here is what Fe is doing. He is reading this game and seeing people attacking his wagon for him. Instead of actively trying to engage in his own defense, Fe is letting what I believe confused town continue to dismantle or at least thwart the wagon. So he is stalling and rolling the dice that he can evade suspicion by having everyone else do the work for him. I know people should be encouraged to comment on current wagons, but in this case since we are waiting for mods and prods to go out (I believe some players are days past the 48 hour deadline), force Fe to defend what he is doing and post reads, or replace out, or we lynch him. If we dictate the terms to him he has nowhere to go but either out of the game (willingly or otherwise), or actually post substance.

D1 post #16, and Breakfast is already looking for an easy lynch, this leads to Fizz’s response, KMD’s (#22)anylasis which causes much of the early day one wagon. Fizz’s response to NS’s #27 is just terrible. I mean, come on, of all the ways he could of said no. But since this would look like a Mafia who is not comfortable with lying and this game is all about lying, im going to but it down to inexperience. Penguins late jump on the Fizz wagon in #38 is suspicious to say the least, (also if Fizz is scum look at either Majiffy/Declan for possibly trying to divert attention elsewhere). Aethers jump on Fizz’s wagon (#39) is vaguely understandable coming from the fact that obviously he doesn’t want to see his own lynch thus goes on the biggest one going.
Them there is a couple of walls going on with KMD asking questions and Fizz slowly getting himself tangled (i.e. #44) and the fact that he is very kean to make sure that everyone thinks well of him. Pirates invade in #50 and sort of soft-defends Fizz with his join-date, a practise that is generally not a good indicator of skill. NS try’s to DayKill the border, and she goes on the defensive, before realising she may have been a little special. I personally think this is more of a scummy vibe given that how quickly she goes on the defensive. TheDirector gets personal and wishes NS to be gang raped, I put this down as a town-tell as no scum would really want to annoy a townie this early in the game.
Then the Director seams to go about his mission to suspect everyone in the game, I would have to put this down as a scum thing as they don’t want to be specific about what they are doing, so they have every reason to think that scum could easily just keep on changing their reads (#67, #76 etc.). Then Aether turns up and is a distraction for (#84 - #113) during which time, Majifiy gets massive town points for his consistent application of pressure despite Aether being really unresponsive (e.g. #87) Majifiy defending Fizz in #106 and Kittens #107 again show both Mala and Majifiy in a very townie light. However #110 by Fizz, shows scum getting rather panicked by a day 1 lynch (although I have seen people as town do the same, it normally comes from scum). Then in #120 I make a silly mistake and we get quickly stopped by Kittens.
Declan’s suspisons in #132, seams odd given that in the games I have played with him he tends to be quite active as town (sample size = 1) Again penguin comes in with a half-assed case in #12², and pirate seems to defend Aether in (#149), possible buddying as scum to townie in order to seem townie when he flips town (ashuming that he wasn’t one of her scum buddies that is). Aether carries on being Aether and KMD despairs. Bork pops up without much content (yes I know I can’t talk) Declan starts to post more, and Majifiy requests replacement #173. Then Aether gets force replaced hurrah! Then fitz replaces in and out (Im quite glad of this, fitz and fizz could get confusing).
Town adjusts themselves and I get suspiouns, I would like to know why of all the lurkers N6 thinks I am scum but other than that bork seams to be sheeping n6. Penguin comes and shows not much really. #236 last survivor shows up and starts actively scum hunting, but then holds out his reads, very weird. Then Majifiy starts quoting lyrics, exciting stuff. Uct / KMD possible early bussing attempt? (#246) N6 gets town points for decoding Majiffies post.

Thats what I have got to so far (I didn't want to post till it was complete but nevermind) And P.s. its less monitoring more I get an email every-time someone posts so I know when to check it.

I disagree with you about the game being all about lying as scum. When I'm scum, my only lies are usually my reads and my claims. And sometimes the reads are genuine in games with a second scum team or SK.

the director, I apologize--I didn't see your vote and was going off the most recent vote count.

Fe's wall of thoughts does read as mostly IIoA, but the lack of conclusions makes it really hard to read it as valuable. Just about everyone is labeled scum somewhere therein with the exception of Majiffy, who is declared town for pushing Aether and defending Fizz, never mind that Fe finds Fizz scummy right around that time, and Malakittens, who's a pretty safe town read to make, given that no one's read her as anything but town. Oh, and the director is apparently town too, because only townies would dare to be insulting to their cohorts, never mind that said cohorts can lynch them and compromise said townie's win condition.

I'd chalk it up to a raw set of notes being used mostly for scumhunting except that a) nothing's really connected throughout--no posts call back to earlier posts in the notes to build a case, and b) there are some weird non sequiturs therein, such as being glad about not having a fitz and fizz to keep track of and finding Majiffy's lyric quoting relevant (sorry Majiffy, I can only assume that was for your own entertainment) and something that provides a town read on someone else? Plus justifying his own lack of content when talking about borkjerkin's activity--rather pandering to the crowd in that turn of phrase more than making personal notes as he claims.

Plus how is monitoring by e-mail different than any othe kind of monitoring? Nitpicking much?

Bottom line, I can wait for the actual conclusions from Fe, but what's been presented so far is not persuasive in any manner.

And am I reading this correctly in that Fe, you're arguing that you've posted something that should satisfy those who wanted you to post, but what you posted wasn't intended to be helpful to the group at large? So as per #368 we're not allowed to make any judgments based on #361?
