Those few things were, as I said, Poe's novella, a word which here means a novel but shorter, and the posts of Bradley, and Shakespeare.
There is only one aspect that bothers me about Poe's long post, and that is the order of his scumreads. Marlowe and Moliere were two authors that were nonexistent yesterday, but Poe marked them as his highest scum reads. His rationale for them being a criminal is practically nonexistent as well. Yet they are his two top scum reads. However, this is not necessarily something that makes Poe a criminal. It is only an oddity. I'd like him to address why he found these two to be his top criminals yesterday regardless.
I have to agree with Pynchon that it is strange that Shakespeare excuses Willamson for calling for votes but then pushes Wallace for the same thing. Shakespeare, a very prolific author, can you elaborate instead of pushing back on Pynchon, who brought up a good point?
I still feel that Bradley is a criminal. Her posts today have not exonerated her.
----------
Seuss - can you address my clarification I asked for in my last post?
Spinning Paper is another example of being lost in style, except instead of hiding a lack of content in a terrible ocean of words, the paper says nothing because he is obsessed with speaking in headlines, just like a master criminal is obsessed with committing the perfect heist.
Confucius, you asked four questions in your previous post, if you have somehow forgotten because you suffered a brain injury that somehow Confucian historians did not know about. What did you find from these answers? Who is a criminal? Who is not?
I dislike how Phelps deflected Joyce's question, which was a good one as well. However, the rest of his content makes me think he is an innocent.- Fred Phelps

Oh, I fully intend to answer Joyce's question, I just refuse to indulge his dog-sodomizing lack of intellect until Seuss stops deflecting questions himself. And shame on you hedonists for calling me out while letting Seuss get away with it--- he's even flaunted the fact that he's not being helpful, even while being called out for being unhelpful!- Mark Z Danielewski

^ Rope would also look great here.Seuss has clearly been busy. You, on the other hand, are doing a lovely job of acting all inflamed and outraged over a player doing a game-stirring action and still not caring much about the game afterwards. No wonder Seuss doesn't much care; right now, this is a 21p alted game where most people spend a lot of time indulging in their character instead of actively rooting out scum. That doesn't make them scum, but makes them difficult to read. This is a frustrating game and scum can hide just fine with the help of their flavor shtick. For a bright example: your predecessor's very forced scumhunting crammed in all that flavor. It's notnatural. It does not read like a Town player having fun, but like a scum player trying to show their work. And you, who replaced intothatslot? You are pushing a terrible case over someone's lack of motivation and being busyelsewhere. Please keel over.- James Joyce

↑ Dr Seuss wrote:"Scumbag" Seuss has two choices before him.
Hammer the guy and get run up? Or just ignore him.
The former leads to all sorts of bad stuff.
The latter? He gets off free, and the town has it rough.
Tell me which one is the smarter play for scum?
Staying below the radar? Or hammering someone?
Seuss is an easy target in a still-active game. He's the obvious scapegoat to shoulder the blame. It's laughable that Joyce says he hasn't improved, when several authors cannot be moved. You hold the key to the world in your hands! It's time to rise up and take a stand! Don't be LAZY, James Joyce, good host. I've contributed far more today than most. There's no analysis of my actions. Just really awful knee-jerk reactions. The game was stagnant as could be yesterday. The mods were fretting over how it could stay. Now that time has cleared up a bit, I'm having another go at it. But you put me on your list to die? I have to ask, reallywhy?
Look at the bufoons who park their vote, then sit in the background writing nary a note.
Look at the people who go "Dr. Seuss! He made a bold move, he must get the noose!"
Look at someone who can't be arsed to hunt. Is he just lazy, or is he a scum-cunt?
Kind folk, this day is yours, you can be the best! If only you'd stop behaving in jest!
You have control of your destiny! You can do it; find some scum with me!
Look at what he's posted here, he had all the time in the world to post, or share his thoughts, and all he did was defend himself.
This post can be summed up with "Yeah, I hammered, whatcha gonna do about it, why aren't you scumhunting?!"
I *am* scumhunting, you godless whore, and now I've caught me a scum and I'm not gonna rest until it faces God's righteous judgement. PRAISE GOD! THANK THE LORD FOR ROPE!- Mark Z Danielewski

a post that takes 4 1/2 minutes to craft and does not require previous [re]reading. Seuss has been analyzing D2.but that requires a lot of time that he clearly does not have, no matter how inflamed you1 act over it. And the way you keep insisting on it instead of sitting back and bothering to judge your read in a critical light displeases.*Not D1, yes,

Kid had a lotta problems with Miss Stein's post 320.
She agrees with Phelp's post about Seuss, and she had her vote following suit. She said right there, plain as day. But then sittin on her other suspects is Phelps himself. You agree with him on the one particular he yells repeatedly, but still want him for lynching? What happens to your Phelp's read if Seuss flips scum?
And then there's her suspcion of Shakespeare out of nowhere. Shakespeare's advocating a Pynchon/Zimmer Bradley scumteam, and Ms. Stein ain't got nothing to say about why she thinks Shakespeare is scummy. But the consensus is starting to churn for him, and there she is.
Spinnin Paper hadn't gotten any better, mind, but Miss Stein's thoughts seemed to be comin from different places: strategic picks, not one mind with one idea of the gamestate. Kid only knew of one kind of folk that thought like that.
Unvote, Vote: Gertrude SteinThe Kid's the one hunting the scumbags. I'm just spreading the word.-

Some are perplexed, maddened by a dream.

Nay, I tell thee, it is all that we deem.

The cautious seldom err.
I am still in the process of getting past the immense amount of waste in this game. Day One is not an easy read, and I have been unable to force myself to read it a second time yet. If I were toforcemyself into scumreads right now it almost necessarily have to be within the active players, in large part because there is so little to differentiate between the inactive players. This is too much of an incentive for scum to lurk. Furthermore, although Ihaveasked questions, Ihave notreceived many answers.
I'll vote when I vote.
~
1.)Jane Austen, you have claimed that Edgar Allen Poe has taken both your posts and Lemony Snicket’s posts out of context for the purpose of attacking you. Please drop the pretense (your cryptic posting) and argue what youmean.
Furthermore, I asked youtwoquestions, not one. Answer my second question.
2.)Edgar Allen Poe, in Post 322 you suggested that scum were piling on Dr. Seuss. In your next post, after being asked who you want to lynch, you named four people, none of whom were voting for Dr. Seuss. Explain.
3.)William Shakespeare, answer my question. While you are at it, plainly explain the connection between Marion Bradley Zimmer and Thomas Pynchon.
4.)Gertrude Stein, please treat Rucks' Post 335 as a set of questions to you. Namely: (i) Where did your suspicion of Shakespeare come from? And (ii) Why are you voting Dr. Seuss because you "agree, mostly" with Fred Phelps while you simultaneously list Fred Phelps as somebody you want to lynch?

Mod, please keep us up to date on who has been prodded. Part of the stagnancy in this game is that there are so many players missing."An oppressive government is more to be feared than a tiger."- Jane Austen

I am very honoured that such a wise figure as yourself would condescend to speak to me, but I did answer your second question. The answer to your first question was that only one person can be lynched today, and I only have vote to help lynch; it would not be good is Seuss got away because my concentration was split into two.
To your first paragraph: you seem to understand my claim perfectly, so I think I can be forgiven for thinking I'm not beingtoocryptic.- James Joyce

"I had thought people might look into Ms. Bradley again. It has gotten a bit stale though. I think our oriental friend is on to something though. I too would like those named to answer."
Wilde paused for a moment before beginning to muse aloud. "People are fascinating creatures. Bundles of contradiction and yet often without duplicity in such. What may be taken for villainy may simply be incompetence. Our mad friend Mr. Poe seems like the type who could be either. I do wonder why he did not list Ms. Austen, given their interactions in this game."
"For all the talk Mr. Phelps has made of God, I do find it curious that He has not spoken to us since yesterday. Perhaps it would be wise for us to petition Him, and seek His guidance in these dark times." (Prod on God?)- Edgar Allan Poe

Tis true. Oh very true true,
Like madmen my mind is a screw,
Like a crazed always askew,
But surly I’m not mad, no more than you?
Sadly, though, I’m not of the divine.
But I seek I seek, like a drunk seeks wine.
I look, with eyes oh truly mine,
Yet I do not find, nor puzzle their align.
Yet a sturdy watch I do such keep,
Like a stalking man – oh such a creep,
All the while while the angels weep.
At the jumpers on the Seuss wagon, all the sheep.
It's my gut, it's so truly sad,
Yet my mind cannot explain a tad.
Does this truly make me bad?
Does this truly make me mad?"Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things that escape those who dream only by night."- Marion Zimmer Bradley

Mestro Confucius makes a very valid point there Mestro Poe... Like me you have commented on the suspicious nature of the wagon on easy target Mestro Seuss. I have on numerous occasions seen such derpy type hammers and they have turned out to be fellow Darkovans and were strung up as Terrans. I remember one time when we did not string up the fellow and his replacement the esteemed Thor with his lightning wit, was able to unravel the pieces and find the scum who was so cleverly hiding.
So why are you voting and laying suspicions on others instead of exploring the people ON the easy street wagon? And maybe just maybe comparing them with those on the wagon on Ellis? Perchance where the two meet mayhap lie scum?
Mestro Joyce I think you have a bit of a misunderstanding of the idea of active lurking.... My sire was old beyond his years and yet he stubbornly insisted upon breaking horses at his age. (Armida is well known for the finest horses in all of Darkover). Unfortunately one of them proved more able than my sire. If you would like to switch places and deal with my relatives and go through my sire's papers, be my guest... I would much rather be in my sweet Tower with my circle and my Keeper doing the monitor work I love so much.
Mestro Shakespeare, you have a reputation of being quite the Bard and yet you are being rather miserly with your verbiage here. You shout my name and yet provide nothing else. Do you have anything resembling a case or just shouting to keep people from looking at you as a possible Terran Spy?
Mestro Cummings as usual you are tunneling something fierce. Again with no cause. In addition to grieving for my poor stubborn sire, I am also grieving for the loss of our dear departed David Foster Wallace. The terrible Terrans must have some type of special weapon to have caused his demise even with all the precautions taken to keep him safe. By my Monitor's Oath I am forbidden to harm anyone so while you and others are focusing on me, the Terrrans are laughing at you all.
I find some wisdom in the words of the forementioned- Marion Zimmer Bradley

uggh that was bizarre. To finish the above:
I find some wisdom in the words of the aforementioned words of Confucius and those of Mestro Wilde. I also would like to know what kind of case could be made on Mestro Rucks? If Mestra James could please come back and explain? I do not see even a bit of Terran in him and I would like to understand Mestra James' reasoning for declaring him most vile?-

Anyone who thinks the Seuss wagon is "easy," has been blinded! Blinded, I say by the scumfag agenda!
For such an "easy" wagon, it's sure gone nowhere, and in fact a handful of counterwagons have sprung up like so many rotten fruit. Indeed, suspicion cast on all sides of this "easy" wagon!
Were it such an "easy" wagon, Seuss would feel the need to modify his behavior, but instead he hasn't. News flash, sinners--- it's not the hammer or the lurking that makes him scum, it's the attitude behind it. This worthless waste of sperm has a smug, cavalier attitude regarding this town. He thinks he's untouchable in the eyes of the Lord. Well it ain't so! None are innocent! None shall go unpunished in the lake of fire! And that's where you're headed, Dr. Seuss, a damnable fire that cannot be quenched!
