I don't think you're scummy for being used to another way of playing, but there are lots of ways mafiascum.net is different from other Mafia sites. Where I came from (which is better-known as a machinima site than a Mafia site—in fact, Mafia is confined to just a single thread there), votes were secret.

It's a small enough risk where someone who actually takes it will be suspected anyway or have to explain it so it doesn't really hurt much. The chances that rare quick hammer hits some great pr is pretty low.

Do you still think Mhork should have more votes? Or is there someone else you suspect more besides lurker right now?

P-edit: Secret votes sounds fun. My past history is 24 hour phases and role madness with balance/swinginess might not be nice.

I don't think you guys think I'm scummy for thinking this, or really care if you do lol. Where I played it has its own subforum and like 5-10 ga,es of various sizes running at once (your admin chamber got his start on this subforum). The biggest difference im seeing so far other than this l-2 thing is the pace, on mtgs long drawn out days are the norm, here several of you seem to want to blaze through the day (maybe you want the poe for assistance?). I think i kinda favor something center of the two.

Mhork is at the top od the list but I'd like to read deeper and think on Baby Spice and then compare my feelings on the two before committing to my next lynchventure

Right now, I have everyone as null, with Lurker town because of his claim. I'm going to iso a few people tomorrow and continue from there.

Every player is null except for the wagon? None of the wagons so far or people pressured you have a read on?

so your read on lurker went from scum to town because of the claim?

Null because I don't have post to support reasons right now, but off the top of my head, I think you, Mehdi, Jones, and Lurker are town. The rest of the people I will keep at null until they post or I do an iso on them.

P-edit: @Jake, I was gone and didn't catch up until he was at L-1, so I was on the wagon based on RVS. After I caught up, I stayed on the wagon to see how he would react for being at L-1. When he claim, my neutral read moved to town.

I never really trust VT claims because there is no way to prove their claim without lynching the person. The property card I don't know how I feel about because I feel like their power can be given or taken at any time due to the "for now" statement in mine.

I did acknowledge the fact that he has the power card, but it was not enough for me to unvote at the time. His watcher power role claim was enough for me to unvote because, should this be town aligned, it will provide useful information for the town. His property has a power, but he did not mention what, so I was going off of the information that was given.

*How* Lurker claimed was pretty townie. It also looks like he looked at his pm and to read his role before posting. The only thing that caught my eye about it was that he has 2 cards. I have a different amount. Do we all not start off with the same amount of properties?

I don't know if this actually matters much, but until then

UNVOTE:

L-1 VOTE: Lurker

What Mhork said really had nothing to do with proving Lurker is scum to be "sold" on the idea. Mhork was just being a snarky pants to Medhi as he clarified himself. No evidence or anything else that even relates to Lurker except how he liked my case.

At no point before this time (or at the time of this vote even) had StrangerCoug mention Lurker in a scummy light. This looks like a BS vote to just get onto a wagon.

VOTE: StrangerCoug

Baby Spice is my second scum read. Baby Spice uses unverified statistics to stand behind in order to vote for someone (me). But if she felt my vote for Lurker was "bullshit misrepresentation" why wouldn't she just vote me on that? Instead, she is just hiding behind the statistics to push her vote along. She is taking responsibility out of her hands. Someone flips town who was on that wagon? She can a) blame it on using stats and possibly b)move onto someone else on the wagon.

Also, the lack of actually backing anything their saying or answering questions.

If either Baby Spice or Mhork flip scum, the other would be more likely to flip scum.

Baby Spice wrote:Lord Mhork would be one of those easy targets people say that scum look for. Just saying.

28/13 = 2 remainder 2

11 people have 2 cards while 2 people have 3 cards.

I'm curious how Mhork flipping scum condemns spice. I can somewhat see mhork becoming more suspicious if spice flips scum but not the other way around.

2x + 3y = 28
x + y = 13

Solve and you get 11 for x (people with 2 cards) and 2 for y (people with 3 cards). I'm assuming everyone has at least two cards and no one has four or more cards.

I've had a lot of unexpected work dumped on me yesterday and today that has to be done, but should hopefully be finished it tommorow.
I don't know what annoys me more. Bad Harry Potter fan fiction that gets the facts right, or good Harry Potter fan fiction that doesn't.
