All who venture forth herein: beware the changing meters
Upon the edge of sanity my consciousness oft teeters
Yet I'll refrain from making clear what's commonly known fact
And let you read my rubbish now; you've caught me in the act!
Hearken now, thine filthful rabble
As words mingle and wordsmith dabbles
E'er betrothed, to snark and wit
This wayward tongue doth flick and flit

A Quartz of Truth his ego helmed
Beneath dark oak and tangled elm
The forest looming o'er his head
His dreams so bright, in darkness' stead
An engineer mechanical, he thus fancied himself
Yet ere drew nigh his failure; as it were, conceived in stealth
They rolled in earnest; boiling tears of melancholy shame
And thus began his journey to this grim eccentric game
After each night has shed its cloak, the cycle starts anew
And much the same, our hardy friend had found a new start too
To grief the trolls, berate VIs, and castigate outcasts
A purpose just, a calling worthy, his place he'd found at last
Trite and timorous he spoke of loving poetry
And in reply received only "STFU" and "QFT"
Rightly his rage piqued; but also animosity
And inexorably, the trolls received no amity
His eye is sharp, watch as he levels now
His piercing chides, and now his righteous stare
Not solely on fiends as they bait the crowds
Nay; upon
all
whom dared linger there
His liqueur fancy oft detailed in fable
He drinks even Keith Moon under the table
His yearbook quote read thus: "Drown me with beer!"
An erudite savant? Don't make me sneer
When buzzed he chases skirt like you have never seen before
When more inebriated, he gets naked on the floor
When
well
intoxicated, he seeks flaming embers' touch
It's said that tales exist of how he scorched his member thus
But when not setting fire to intimate extremities
He dabbles in post-humanism (and snorting Febreze)
If run a charity he did; it'd be Nickels for Nichols
Can gaps be bridged between reality and superstition?
The question of "the Other" his curiosity tickles
And seek he does a cure for the current human condition
His passion is to seek the Other so
Also to speak sophisticatedly
About such things which man may never know
And realms beyond that deepest mystery
