In response to Sotty:
My mafia history pre-MafiaScum is around 3 completed games off-site a long time ago (multiple years). I don't even recall where I played, which is what led to me finding this site when I went looking for the game again.
My history on this site involves four completed games. They are three town wins and one scum win. They can be found on my wiki page.- Herodotus

As I said early in the game, a post from one of you could mean different things than a post from the other. Even if you coalesce after, there isn't a pro-town reason that I can see to hold back on posting the "raw data".
Magister, I just reread Day 1 of Succession 2 to try to understand why you were comparing my play here to that game. I kept shouting at my monitor "HOW DID WE NOT LYNCH YOS2?"
Idle question: Feysal, do you know why ThAdmiral called "not voting" = "feysaling"? This was about a year and a half ago; is it still relevant?Just because a majority of a group of people decide it's okay doesn't mean it's not murder. - Cobblerfone- The Mini-Librarian

Reading Magister's response to my 64 does clear up the issue I had with him. I don't think it was necessarily a smart play for him to intervene in the wagon that early, but it doesn't really show alignment.
In fact the only point in Jabberwock's detailed case against him that I believe could be construed as showing alignment is the point about rhetoric, which I need to do some meta research first before making a final decision about that.

↑ Herodotus wrote:↑ The Mini-Librarian wrote:@herodotus:Was your reasoning for voting feysal a fabrication? You seem to imply so in 38.
Partly. I do believe that town morale is important and that it's better to think positively about a role you claim to have, but I never wanted to lynch feysal for it. As for Jabberwock and sottyrulez's reasons, I consider them as adequate as can be expected on page 1. My vote was to help form a wagon to see how people would react. As I said in the post you linked, the wagon seems to have paid off. Feysal himself is currently a basically null read, but I did get a couple town reads.
Speaking of that post, does The Mini-Librarian have any comment on my response?
Not really, as I find the reasoning given for your actions to be innocuous and from a pretty townie perspective (and frankly, I like wagoning early in the game, so I can sympathize.)

↑ Feysal wrote:To explain some more, I don't think that scum would have forgotten about having false claims and the information they contain. They could try to feign ignorance, but such attempts are often crude and stand out, since the scum try to draw attention to their supposed town confusion. Rob however came off very natural and I can follow his though process with ease.
Am I correct in saying that you don't believe Rob to be of enough skill to pull this off as scum? Are there players you believe can pull this off? If so, what in Rob's game makes you believe that he couldn't?

↑ sottyrulez wrote:I'm doing little to no homework to read you correctly. I'm not a meta fan. I will read you in this game, and really that's all that should be expected of me.
Fair enough. I'm glad you have played with me as town at least once though. I'm not about to dive head first into self meta here, but suffice to say that I've heard several people say that my alignment becomes apparent over time.
↑ sottyrulez wrote:I thought it was unusual that ML wasn't the first thing you would comment on when you entered the game seeing as he had helped make you the top subject in the thread so far.
Part of the reason why was that the last time we played together things got ugly, and I had no idea what to do or say about him when the game started. In short, I attacked Ludi in Feast for Crows, he claimed day cop and got a town player lynched, and ended up lynched himself the next day. I was one of his final suspects, and I was so pissed off that I challenged him to a bet that all of his final suspects were in fact town. They were, I won the bet, but the game was a total loss.
I know I said that I thought his defense of me was town motivated, but rather than white knighting, it may also have been an attempt to buddy me. He could have feared I would be inclined to view him negatively due to our history. And I do have doubts about his mafia abilities. When I described him as unpredictable, I was being kind, I could have called him irrational or inconsistent.
I don't like him suddenly replacing out at all.
↑ The Mini-Librarian wrote:Am I correct in saying that you don't believe Rob to be of enough skill to pull this off as scum? Are there players you believe can pull this off? If so, what in Rob's game makes you believe that he couldn't?
I was not and am not even thinking about it from that angle. I know nothing about Rob13 that I did not read in this game, and I don't know if he could pull it off or if it would occur to him to try. But I can say I don't remember anyone who would have done it, even when I have been fooled there have been tells I have missed or ignored for some reason or other.
Simply put, Rob13 feels town to me, and I'm not about to get paranoid about it.
Ugh. That was because of Cold War Mafia. Long story short, I was in too many large themes at once, burned myself out, and by the time I was lynched I was pretty much flaking out of that game. I don't think it was ever really relevant, that game was my worst on site.- d3x

I've run out of time to post tonight, all I have to say is the quick following...I find it rather hilarious that you are sheeping ultimately a gut Vote. Please explain the 'case' in your own words. I would also like you to respond to Jabberwock's p110 as this directly speaks to the post you are refering.

I'm offering 1 Scumhunter point each for whoever points out either of the two things I personally found scummy about Feysal's last post. The first should be very easy. Feysaliseligible to receive these points.Just because a majority of a group of people decide it's okay doesn't mean it's not murder. - Cobblerfone- Debonair Danny DiPietro

@sotty- Assuming Zach is correct {no reason to doubt him}, why do you have Rob and Mini leaning Scum? I don't have them in that pile at all. I'm more Null to Null leaning Town at this juncture.
@Feysal- I'd like your thoughts on Hero, plz. You Voted early for what can be conjectured as OMGUS, but haven't really mentioned a reason to stay. Also plx respond to my question in p74

The first one I was feeling mimsy and d3x I think is scum. He seems distant and his posts seem more concerned with writing down stuff he's thinking than scumhunting, e.g. he notes that you do a light rolefish but there's no sign he's given any thought as to the applicability of that scum tell (spoiler: it's not).Scumchat is awesome. You should self vote at this stage.
Then we lynch you.
Then we can ignore the fact that you replaced into a scum slot in this game and go back to being friends with you.
Pretty sure the courteous thing to do is let me bus a partner first.

If you are humorous enough about it and die before the 8th, though, I take requests of photos of a posable Jabberwock plushie. Sadly, I do not have a Nibbler plush to crush underclaw. (Nor a godzilla one, for that matter... )

Oh?
Feel free to show where this (which is the extent of your analysis so far) has any semblance of depth. You're avoiding the blatant mislynches, but then you go and pick a middle-of-the-road player and that lame explanation is all you have to show for your work. You "try" to convince Empire to move over, when you know perfectly well neither of us is likely to budge unless we get solid reads.↑ Cogito Ergo Sum wrote:d3x I think is scum. I'll let Empire shine on the meta section later, but the long and short of it is that those entrance posts would be enough even if Ludi wasn't in that slot. You're getting rope Today. - Jabberwock
