That would seem to validate my reasoning?

You're avoiding the blatant mislynches, but then you go and pick a middle-of-the-road player and that lame explanation is all you have to show for your work. You "try" to convince Empire to move over, when you know perfectly well neither of us is likely to budge unless we get solid reads.

That doesn't come close to describing my process as scum? I didn't try to convince Empire either; that was just responding to Rob.

I agree with Cogito's statements regarding how d3x was playing -- up to the point where Cogito voted him. Post 139 looks like an exception.
@Cogito: what do you think of post 139 that d3x made after you voted him but before you gave your reason?

Jabberwock wrote:Empire will post soon, but long story short is that Cogito Ergo Ludo is scum and needs lynched.
Feysal is probably his buddy
and needs lynched Tomorrow. Leave d3x alone.

Is this serious, or just a way to bargain for me and/or sottyrulez to join the wagon on Cogito?

That post does suggest a pre-existing read on Mini Librarian, which is a pretty decent town tell. I assume that's not what you're referring to though?

But let's try this then:

At the risk of putting words in her mouth, I'm pretty sure she was referring to #136 where you appeal to me solely and not to Tierce or both of us.

And what would be your process as scum then?

Herodotus wrote:Is this serious, or just a way to bargain for me and/or sottyrulez to join the wagon on Cogito?

Tierce and I talked about this one last night. It's a serious accusation, based mostly on Feysal's #107 where he goes from townreading Ludi ("I think Ludi is more likely town than not.") to admitting he can't read him ("I tried to get a meta read on him, but after skimming a few games, I had to conclude he was simply unpredictable.") in the same paragraph and then finishing it off with something he
dislikes
about Ludi ("Something I find strange is Ludi's defense of Herodotus."). To me, that read came off with too many qualifiers that totally sapped its meaning to the point where it's not even really a stance on Ludi. The following #131 doesn't really clarify anything for me, just following up on a hypothetical Ludi-scum scenario.

CES meta stuff later on (mostly revolving around his replace-in style) when I'm not tipsy.

No, in fact I don't understand why you say that. I mean, is that post a counterexample to the scumhunting that was missing in d3x's earlier posts?

I'm having trouble seeing Magister Ludi's page 1 post as one scum defending their buddy, though. And Feysal's post 131 (para 3-4) looks less like distancing than like a scum changing his position so that he can support a mislynch.

General suckiness of the reads; Empire's general inactivity (which is the #1 scum tell for him); their flippancy with regards to getting my slot lynched.

Jabberwock wrote:At the risk of putting words in her mouth, I'm pretty sure she was referring to #136 where you appeal to me solely and not to Tierce or both of us.

If you look at the I was responding to, there's no way she wasn't bringing #141 into it.

My basic process as scum is more something like "let's read the game and see if I find anything scummy and go for that + elaborate bussing".

...I've been gone a lot due to holidays, going so far as to declare V/LA twice during Christmas-time and New Year's, are you serious?

And since when has Tierce especially not been flippant with regards to getting a scumread lynched (see this game, coincidentally where I only posted 4 times due to real life obligations?

No? They seem like pretty boring questions.

(As for my point, he's unlikely to think twice about MiniLib being listed as a scum read of Sotty's if he doesn't have an actual opinion on MiniLib.)

I was supposed to know how many V/LAs you had declared how? You were around the 27th (26th?).

Being flippant w.r.t. to getting people lynched is fine generally? But you have to put more effort into getting someone like ML lynched or otherwise it's probably a waste of time.

You definitely seemed involved that game, even if you did just make 4 posts.

I was barely around during that time. And I declared the second V/LA in this very thread.

And how am I less "involved" this game? #102 alone is probably more involvement in this game than I put into Alduskkel's Mini Normal, nevermind the other posts.

Well, other head is telling me that Ludi does like to aggressively white-knight his scum buddies but I still need to do the research on that. Your interpretation of #131 is plausible, though, but I don't think Ludi's slot is town, so...

Oh god CES stop. You're just embarrassing yourself now. You cannot possible look at my activity and the depth of Empire's reads and think we are scum. You simply can't.

(And look at you bringing up activity as reasoning during the holidays, really. Especially when the Lurker Scum Queen keeps posting for both of us and giving Empire's own input, which means he's clearly following the game.)

My goodness, we didn't put in enough effort to lynch Ludi--no, seriously, stop being an embarrassment to your scumteam.

Empire, go through the first MLP Rainbowdash game when you go through meta. Ludi is scum there, as was CES (and me). The link to the cache download is in Theme Park. Ludi defended me pretty hard from a D1 flash wagon, and CES replaced in later. You may also want to check the neighbor and scum QTs. I'll be on AIM later.

Anytime you want to go through a Town hydra game of mine where I am not being ridiculously flippant about getting my scum reads lynched, CES. Any time. Perhaps it has to do with pointing at obvscum and cackling like a madwoman, or with making detours through Photoshop to illustrate my thoughts, or with having a blast with partners I enjoy and being obvTown.

Dinner, etc.

I was referring to both 136 and 141, which are both pretty damn awful posts. The first is an appeal to Empire, the second has absolutely no reasoning that would make Empire or I likely to move over, so it makes the whole appeal to him very flimsy and showing lack of interest in getting d3x lynched.

We're very very curious as to how CES thinks

I don't find any Town motivation behind CES's side of the debate with Jabberwock. I find the jump suspect {I fail to see the logic behind p154 {wrt his stance on my read of Mini} and the case severly lacking as a whole. Coupled with my leaning on Ludi..

You seemed generally present that game. This game I saw nothing but one big post from you - is that not the pattern you'd expect, you'd naturally be lazy but Tierce'd badger you into getting a post up and that would then by its nature have to be somewhat expansive.

Jabberwock wrote:Anytime you want to go through a Town hydra game of mine where I am not being ridiculously flippant about getting my scum reads lynched, CES. Any time. Again, this is not about general approach.

The d3x townread garbage; the townread on sotty is painfully naive; there's just generally a lot of meaningless blather and the read of Ludi seems to willfully ignore playstyle effects (especially the defense of Feysal seems to be well-explained as a general "I see bad reasoning, I refute it"-type thingamajig
