ooc because I'm lazy:
I pretty much gave the wording I had in my N2 action -- there were so many people that I couldn't tell who was who. It would be pretty ridiculous if I saw everyone, because then I would have seen every single PR who submitted an action last night and was dragged by the rod.
Re the mod error thing: There was no correction, and I didn't ask for a clarification beyond asking why I got a tracker result. I assumed that if he wanted to give me a result, he would have when he said he made a mistake.
Wilde, I chose Seuss because he was pretty much conftown (and the only, iirc) N2and N3. Confucius I thought would be NKed tonight, or at least the target of SOME activity by scum.- Hulk Hogan

Ability will never catch up for the demand for it.

I indeed had a licentious time with Lemony Snicket last night. The tidbit on his role suggested he was very tired from staying awake all night, and I took the wording of it (which I cannot quote) to suggest he might be a Watcher/Tracker (who would be stressed from sitting and trying to watch somebody all night) or possibly a nervous role (like a Paranoid Gun Owner). I see he has claimed Watcher, which I cannot say my information contradicts.
I amverysuspicious of the claim that Lemony Snicket allegedly watched David Foster Wallace and was given a Tracking result. Seeing as David Foster Wallace was aTownie, the Mod accidentally revealing that he "went nowhere" does not even reveal any information to a Watcher at all, and I would fully expect in such a situation that a real Watcher would insist on getting aproperresult, and the Mod wouldhaveto relent given that the improper result could not possibly have harmed the game whatsoever. Alternatively, if the Mod actually felt the game had somehow been compromised, Lemony Snicket should have been force-replaced and a true result should have been given to his replacement.
I think more likely is Lemony Snicket targeted every player he claimed (perhaps he expects that Spinning Paper has a tracking result on him, and therefore he cannot afford to lie) with the possible exception of the Dr. Seuss watch on Night Three. Besides the very obviously suspect Night One result, it is the Night Three claimed Watch that instills any shred of doubt.
I will likely vote Lemony Snicket in due time, but I am in no rush. The lack of any effort to get a proper Night One result is not believable."An oppressive government is more to be feared than a tiger."- Confucius

Thinking on it further, a Mafia Watcher (for example) would be likely to watch players who were likely to be killed by the opposing scum team, or who are likely to be protected (in order to suss out protective roles). And so even if Lemony Snicket is a Mafia Watcher, him targeting Dr. Seuss on Night Three would actually make a good deal of sense.
As such, I have very little doubt that Lemony Snicket thought he had found a clever way to get out of his Night One action but failed to realize that if what he claimed were true, he would have reacted very differently as Town Watcher getting a Tracking result. I fully expect Lemony Snicket in actuality killed David Foster Wallace on Night One."An oppressive government is more to be feared than a tiger."- Spinning Paper

We have three claimed roles who get information on their targets. We are lynching one of Wilde, Snicket, Confucius today (which really means, one of Wilde and Snicket). The rolecop is likely a mafia rolecop. Watcher could go either way, but is probably from the other scumgroup. I am doubly troubled by the claimed role of "Town Flavor Cop." Flavor implies what Confucius gets. Information which indicates the nature of a player's role (like "tired from staying up all night"). And I see no reason for the mod to NOT give Snicket a Watcher result from N1, especially when the "tracking result" would be known upon Wallace's death as aVanilla Townie. That's the easiest "moderator error" to clean up.

I examine this. There's only one odd rabbit in the hat that I've pulled out, I remember. It was Ms. Stein and was influenced due to Mr. Wilde's notices.

My apologies, I still have not read in depth yet. However, from what I have read I am in support of a Snicket lynch.

After that claim - scum, scum, scum.
Before the claim, without the paper, bleh, I'd probably have said probably town.
Notice you didn't say peep about the claim though. Whatchathinkin' Rucks?- Lemony Snicket

Most people would say death is a horrifying thing. It is comparable to, say, being forced to go to different restrooms than another group of people. Or it is comparable to stubbing your toe on hot concrete. In the last instance, it is your own fault for having an open toe around hot concrete.
Some do not fear death, mostly out of stubborn pride. Being above death is the greatest thing of them all, for nothing is more frightening or death defying than it.
Both of these groups of people are fools.

Will think about this tomorrow. As it is, my oh my do we have two scumteams alive and kicking. Is it two of you, or do we get the pleasure of being in an 8:2:2 situation?
It's painfully obvious that Spinning Paper isn't purple, and I would say he's Town, period. (Hi.) Snicket's panicked claim was the result of him presuming that the Paper had a result of some sort on him, which is enough to clear the Paper given how sloppy the claim was. (No criminal mastermind trying to clear his own buddy as he goes down.) The rest of the Snicket claim is annoying because the people who could be cleared are, well, dead.

(Also hilariously, something the mod said to me pretty much made it obvious that Snicket was a Watcher, but the weirdness about the N1 result meant he made no sense as a Town Watcher. Go go dead scum being dead, I guess.)

From N1, if he was not the killing force on DFW, Snicket had a GUILTY on the orange scum who killed David Foster Wallace. Tomorrow I'll go through his posts to see if he ever brought this up in some form of scumread that can account for this or if it was already-dead orange scum or whatever else if any. Apparently it isn't/wasn't anyone the purples bothered crosskilling (or it was bulletproof! Look at those missing kills!), so.- Mark Z Danielewski

My dear Johnny,
Dearest child, get your ass back in here. Why did you look at the thread and then leave so suddenly, knowing that we have just come out of Night and you have results that might need outed? No comment whatsoever? Why do you leave commentary until later, when a few OOC sentences could convey what you think of the present situation?- T S Eliot

Mr. Poe, your case rubs me the wrong way. I must protest that though Mr. Snicket's constant cries of Mr. Hogan's innocence are certainly suspicious, Mr. Hogan himself is not. He has done nothing particularly worthy of suspicions thus far.
As a matter of fact, Mr. Poe, you have done more outright suspicious things than he has.

"Mafia fruit vendor? Are you kidding me?" ~ Oscar Wilde
"The necessary equipment of the fruit vendor is the fruit cart. And while amusing, the destruction of the fruit cart is merely the collateral damage of justice and a waste of good fruit." ~Oscar Wilde
OOC: I refuse to believe there's anything as lame as a Mafia Fruit Vendor in this game.
