I'd like reasons as to why people think their meta makes them obv-town if possible. I'm sorry, but I don't know over half of you from adam, and I'm not about to read through every game everyone's played. There is a difference between someone being obvtown because of the game mechanics and literally being confirmed town because of mechanics. Scum have more than once in the history of mafia been called obvtown, and people just coming in and saying, "I'm totally obv-town," doesn't fly with me out the gate. Sorry if I don't take your word for it.

Players calling other people obv-town is more meta in and of itself. These are players that likely wouldn't vote for said obv-towns because they literally believe them to be town until they make a slip that they are scum. Typical buddy behavior from Day 1 which happens in most other games. Sample being, most people won't vote to lynch MagnaofIllusion Day 1 unless he did something that literally brought the votes down on him.

I've seen each of the people I've played with as scum and town with the exception of Bitmap and chkflp I believe. Regardless, I plan on playing this as a normal game of Mafia because I simply don't feel I know enough about each player's meta to simply assume someone as scum or town.

...simply because I find him the most likely to have been handed a scum role for no other reason than I've played in more games with him as scum more than town.

Easy. You're loud in general. As town, you aren't afraid to get your hands dirty and call people out. As scum, you are dodgy and tend to add useless nonsense.

Om is loud. And high posty (although that applies to quite a few people here). And generally calls himself obv town in every game. Matt is loud. And leads. Rofl is like matt. I ask questions a lot. Mae's meta consists of half scum games with homestuck being the only game she's been in I think to be mentioned in scummies and she was scum. Nacho often is scum. Elmo lurks. Gnr's activity depends but tends to be low as scum and medium as town and is generally a calm player either alignment. Peregine likes setup spec and is calm + logic type. Voided walls. Maestro jokes.
