re: sig bets. my first one was initiated by scum and I accepted as town. I made a big stink about it in the game saying, "as scum I do not think you would do this" but is not the reasons I rescinded my absolute scum read on the player who made the sig bet. (this happened at freethought forum.) her teammate decided to post in the peanut gallery thread and in the pg of another game on another site a post which indicated her as scum cos she bussed him on d1 (it was my first untimed game evah) and he was butthurt about it. <----had more of an impact than the sig bet did. I made it about the sig bet cos I was butthurt over that I pushed her lynch

for days

with noe success. game lasted almost 4 months. I was wifoming as to whether or not the person who made those posts would seriously do that to a scummate and use outside influences to effect the outcome of a win. I voted poorly (town lost) and she got to wear the sig of, "I love camel toes and I have a big fat lesbo crush on divagreen" while being an admin on 2 different sites.

the second time was town wanted to sig bet me as scum and I went along with it; I made raven suffer why should I not endure the same pain. then he tacked on avatar and I was like okay. got him lynched as a cop cleared, semi-proven doc....how that happened I have no idea. but it was funny and he respected me for pulling it off.

so sig bets are not indicative of alignment regardless of who proposes them.

if buldey wants to take in the site meta from this experience then so be it; I just want it clear that it did not impact my decision (lol, I was still voting him) I took it as the good fun that I think it was intended. and it was between he and I and not anyone else.

I get that it is against site rules only cos I have been/am a mod on other sites and can for see the potentials for disaster if this becomes an accepted practice on this particular site.. I have played on 8 and each mafia culture is different.

I was shaking my head when starting D 3 cause of a no kills and BOTH the Doc and the JK targeting the same person. Had I been in the director's shoes I would have claimed and stated that I jailed penguin and pushed for her lynch, especially knowing there was a Doc in the set up.

LOL my first game (most of which was lost in the crash) would have made the record for longest day if the crash had not happened.

We had well over 700 posts on Day 1 in N 1206.

To further the bit about sig bets not being alignment-indicative, I had a sig bet with Mollie when I was modding 465 after she had replaced out. So in that case, neither party was actually invested in the game in regards to the bet.

Also, 2/3 ain't bad. Fucking circumstances of Director and I being on the same person and that person being scum... mother of god.
