I wasnt lying at all. I read the game setup but I didnt see where the mod said how many mafia there were.

: If you had actually read the game setup, it would have been blatantly obvious that every possibility has one Mafia Rolecop and one Mafia Goon. Bitmap assumes that your question means that you genuinely didn't know how many there are, so you couldn't possibly have gotten a Mafia Role PM. That would indeed be a town tell.

Three alternatives to his interpretation are, however, that you:

a) didn't read your Role PM well enough. This is reasonable given that you also claimed to have read the setup, which would have given you the answer.

b) deliberately acted as though you didn't know the answer, even though you did, in the hope someone would see it as an accidental towntell. This seems less likely, but is still possible.

c) the way you posed your question, you could very well have meant "do you (town) know how many of us (scum) there are?" This, too, is reasonable, as we have established that you hadn't read the game setup thoroughly - you could very well have wondered whether we know that there are just your scum buddy and yourself.

I definitely don't think Bitmap's interpretation is enough to outweigh the scumread on your predecessor.

Instead of making useless filler posts (like pointing out how long awestfie has left to post), please give us your opinion on the game so far. If you aren't scum, who do you think seems the most scummy? Who do you think is probably town? If you've read through the thread, these should be questions you're able to answer.

If you want to prove to us that you're pro-town, you should really tell us who your partner is. Your role PM should say something along the lines of "you are a [YOUR ROLE] along with your partner [YOUR PARTNER]."

Anyway I agree with paladin and kwll, the only reason I see why he would do this is that he's scum and he wanted to start with a whole new "personality" or however you'll call it.

I'm trying to make it clear that a cop with a GUILTY should claim, so some cop doesn't take it to his head to out his innocent read.

Def agree about Bitmap. Thus far you/Bitmap are my strongest townreads by far. Awest is somewhere close up there.

I dont agree with bitmap. That is similar to saying that all those in favor the lynch are earning themselves scum points. Maybe there was to much of reading the slot, but we seem to have a very good agreement that the type of action with the actions of dcla/evilpire was looking very scum since town would not perform such a move. SAD you were even in agreement but left a very small way out in case things went wrong.

With paladins suggestion about SAD being a rolecop is about as close as you can get to with accusing somebody of scum.(hint all mafia roles have a role cop and goon.)

Makes me wonder....
