The howling cries of agony thunder through the building, awakening the few party guests that remain. Everyone follows the source of the sound to the master bedroom, where they find quite the sight. Sir Elton Hercules John's ghost is hovering over the bed of David Bowie, pale ghostly tears streaming from his cheeks and dissipating in mid-air. The crowd gathered closer to find that Bowie had been handcuffed to the four corners of the bedpost and had his eyes removed. A crusty, white fluid oozed out of his eyeholes. Elton let out another shriek.

"How could this happen!? All I wanted was for people to have a good time... it's what he wanted too. We should've called this off after the first ten or so deaths... but we just couldn't! Oooooh, whyyyyyy!"

Most of the partygoers begin to tear up. There's a long bout of silence with heads hung low. Elton finally takes a deep breath and then looks up at the group.

"Which of you... eight... did this!? I swear on my life I will find a way to cosmically strike you down with my ghost powers! You've crossed a line that--"

One of the masked attendees speaks up.

"Wait... eight? Shouldn't there be nine of us?"

Confused murmurs spread throughout the crowd, and Elton darts off through the wall to search the other rooms. After a few moments, he returns.

Elton floats over to the bed and lifts the sheet.
