I remember at the Reckoning, quadz and I discussed the possibility of titling noraaa with anoraaable. Was that suggestion ever made? Was the idea nixed?- zoraster

Well, it definitely is in person.
The problem with the title is therefore that in-person scummer stuff isn't "good enough" for a title as things stand currently.- zoraster

No, or if so as part of the joke you stated that you would talk to Buttons. But I seem to remember that we had both consumed a large portion of alcohol, so maybe you realized that it wasn't a good idea when you sobered up, and I didn't.

Not sure if this is a typo, but Anoraaable is better than Adoraaable I think.vezokpiraka: If you are playing on EUNE we can duo.

noraaa is a wonderful person, but I don't necessarily find her super-kind? Like she stands up for what she believes in very strongly, but it's not really Brandiesque "kind."There will be no kisses tonight
There will be no holding hands tonight

Bump.
What happened with this? It got the requisite support.Occasionally intellectually honest

I have had one conversation with tbm about it, which was a bit inbetween things. It probably wasn't the clearest conversation ever, so a quick summary of what I've tried to say then.
I am happy people nominated me. I understand the reference and it's a cool one, I like it. And since I'm not good with titles, I wouldn't dare making suggestions, I rather trust on the judgement of others. I certainly trust the people who nommed and second this title. In short, I'd be happy with that title. If I'm a Frisian shoulder demon to you, then that's who I want to be!Surrender, imagine and of course wear something nice.- TheButtonmen

Anyone got any compelling arguments about Daemon vs Demon for this title before I run with it?

Gotta agree with Tierce, but I'm a filthy pagan purist. Either is good.
↑ Tierce wrote:Minor nitpick: demon = malevolent, while daemon (daimon) is a class of beings from Greek myth, many of them actually benevolent. (The Roman version of daemons included the Lares, for example.)
The root of the word is the same, but they mean different things. In this case, you're looking for thedemonversion, not thedaemonone.Retired as of October 2014.- Tierce

Parsing the nit-pick: "Many" does not mean "all". So there are some malevolent Daemons. Of which myko is one.Occasionally intellectually honest

tehbuttonmen (11:38): Myk would you describe yourself as benevolent or malevolent?
themykonian (11:41): uhm, yeah, that's a hard question tbm
themykonian (11:41): for purposes of the title, malevolent is more fitting.
By the power invested in me by a farcical aquatic ceremony and my delusions of grandeur I hereby give Mykonian the title ofFrisian Shoulder-Demon!Routine day with a dirt cheap brush
