I decided to try Alistar b/c I didn't really play any bot lane champs at all and he's free, and I lose with him more consistently than any other champ. Like, my Al game is prob terrible but even when I feel I'm doing well relative to everyone else and playing my role on the team we just seem to fall apart eventually.

Still think we haven't seen what CLG is capable of. Too many roster shifts? Maybe. They're not there yet, but individually everyone on the team is strong and the Aphro/Doublelift synergy means their bottom lane is good.

Marn and TSM wild cards. Marn gonna get rolled hard early, but they'll grow. TSM wild card? No one knows how they're gonna do. Recent tournies have... not been good to them.

Tier 3 never beats Tier 1. Tier 2 will probably beat tier 3 and lose to tier 1, but not quite a lockout.

Mid is def the hardest lane right now. All the jumpy bursty guys go there now and anyone who was used to the pace of the mage standoff dance will feel rushed and harassed for the entire laning phase. Then one of the junglers comes to gank and you have this crazy backflip extravaganza with KZ, Zed, Kata, Lee, Vi all just flying all over the place. You need to absolutely know your shit when it comes to cds and damage numbers on everyone right now to have a fighting chance in mid.

Down with mages!

Ranked game.
Enemy Ashe starts 2 rejuv beads and health potions. Sits in lane forever with Taric and myself and my support can't kick her out (I'm playing Caitlyn) because she just regens super fast and then the taric heals. Plus taric was super aggressive so I couldn't get a whole lot of harrass in.
ANYWAYS. I still outfarm the shit out of this Ashe.
By the end of the game Ashe had: Rushed Warmogs as her first item, then Zerkers, then got the parts for a BT
She did LITERALLY 0 damage to anybody on our team. Like, I regen'd for more health than she was dealing in damage.
We ignored her and won several fights without many problems.
Not to mention, that even WITH warmogs, she got solo'd by our support Lulu.

We end up losing the game. W/e. Shit happens.

I raged.
I don't think I've ever been so angry at anything in this game ever.

Since when wasn't midlane where you'd put them.

The reason you see AD assassins appear there is because they can keep up with the burst of a mage. And for the longest time it was hard if not impossible to have a decent game with an ad assassin because of the available items: guess what they fixed.

There are a couple of mages which are better at pushing then bursting someone down and they have their place in the meta. Your morg, galio or karth. They are equipped with the tools to survive a bursty lane, but are you seriously going to claim the average mage has no burst?

I don't think I've ever been so angry at anything in this game ever.

I have the idea that when you are playing one of the more save adc's in the game, have no adc of any value opposite you, and the game went long enough for you to win a couple of fights and for them to get back there really isn't anyone else to be angry at then yourself. Everything was in your favor more then anyone else in your team. You got a free lane. Your support has a better late. You are the only real adc late and you win your midgame fights. Which means only one thing: YOU and nobody else were unable to close out a won game.

Rage on.

You seem to have missed the entire point I was making.

I've never in my life experienced somebody so dense that they were completely incapable of acknowledging how little they did for their team.

I played with a support lux that never bought wards and built straight AP. I tried my best and we won the game (with no help from lux whatsoever), but I was kind of upset because now Lux will go on and build like that in the future, not having learned her lesson. So I get where you are coming from.
