Yeah well, we both finished a ridiculous week for work. rofl is really far behind, lucky bastard lives in New Orleans, and so because he wasn't around for so long he posted in our QT that be thought it best if I just handled posting and if for some reason we are still here Tomorrow he would be able to start up again. I'm not going to rush at this point but I'll get a response up now that I have time up after kids and coffee.- Plessiezarus

Read the claim. Don't really think it particularly "feels town". It's a claim I could easily see coming from either town or scum. Still happy with a TGAH lynch given the rest of his posts.
↑ Shadoweh wrote:↑ ChannelDelibird wrote:Any double-checking or reading over at all would have made it clear that they weren't claiming the same role.
It's not exactly the same, but neighbourizor and masonizor are really, really close to the same thing.
Neighborizer and masonizer might be close to the same thing, but the roles that Zdenek and ActionDanactually claimedare not. How is this still a thing?
Zdenek claimed Friendly Neighbour. A Friendly Neighbour can target another player at night - the target will be told by the mods that the Friendly Neighbour is town-aligned. They do not communicate in any other way, and they do not set up a QT with their target.
ActionDan claimed Neighborizer. A Neighborizer can target another player at night -- the mods will set up a QT for the Neighborizer and his target. The Neighborizer can be town or scum, and neither he nor his target knows the alignment of the other.
Their claimed roles arenot similar, except for a quirk of naming.

I'm getting ready for work but I'll check back in before deadline to hammer if necessary. Konowa said he would make a post, so I'll wait a little longer to see if that comes.
Pless - I think it's pretty easy to mix those two up. In leprechaun mafia, I went on this whole set up speculation about two neighborizers until it was pointed out to me the difference. Now I'm pretty much an idiot so messing up roles or misunderstanding the set up is par for the course, but I don't think it's as cut and dry as they're different clearly.- Plessiezarus

Definitely not saying people can't mix them up given only the names; as I said earlier, I suspect Dan might be town just because I think he did exactly that (and therefore decided he was really counter-claiming).
But it's pretty ridiculous that people are still mixing them upnow, despite multiple people explaining the difference, posting links to the wiki and so on.

It will hold for tomorrow
And people could shift. They are just full of apathy. There are fully 7 people NOT on the TAGH wagon that could join.
But they have their votes elsewhere. Which is telling, IMO.
BUUT ..If no one wants a counterwagon, I dont see any reason to wait on hammering. Does anyone?"if you weren't trying to be so unnecessarily mysterious all the time we wouldn't have these misunderstandings" - Yosarian2-

I really do not know what people expect. Response to 633?
It appears that Plessie is confusing poor reasons with actual scummy reasons. To think that SAD was Town at that point because of Jason’s scummy push on SAD is not illogical at all. To my knowledge Jason has never played with SAD before, so how would I know if Jason thought SAD would be an easy target or not. Point stands that attacking SAD over the RP for “trying to look Barksdale” is an easy crap push that scum love to do. Do you disagree that this shouldn’t have given me a early Town read on SAD?
The only ignorance with our interactions with sotty is solely on their end. I’ve provided a link to a game in which Jason and I both played as Town. If you are trying to argue that his play is similar between these two games then I don’t know what to tell you. He had poor/silly thoughts in that game, which is what sotty is arguing makes Jason Town. However, there –was- progression and he didn’t try to stick to one main point (something else that scum love to do. For example, DV did this in Mafia in LaLaLand and NY 160B).
As far as my interaction with the DV-McStab dynamic, at that point in time DV was going on about how McStab couldn’t reach conclusions of if Nost flips then go on to X. He tried to press that point on me in NY160B (I said that if Mehdi flips scum, then Vi should go next). The fact that he was saying it again gave me all sorts of bad guy feelings, although I wasn’t sure of how bold DV would be to do the same thing as scum that shortly after (which incidentally is why I’ve taken a wait and see approach with DV. I couldn’t read him for shit in LaLaLand and thought he was likely Town at the end of D1 in 160B.)
The point about me “not forging ahead” is silly. I feel as if I have been actively pursuing and trying to get people to see JasonScum. Except of course on the weekends, which gasp I tend to never post. Plessie seems to ignore that the next time I post, 550, I give content of my own. But hey, let’s cherry pick.
Just so we are clear, this is why Jason is scum:
↑ TheGreatestAmericanHero wrote:Jason is scum due to 1) saying Dayne is scum because he's trying hard to look Barksdale (wtf?) 2) Push on Vifam because "one-liners" but hey! hasn't touched BT since he replaced in 3) if people haven't looked at the Dresden Mafia link, do it he's not the same 4) Here's the kicker: If Jason was so worried about scum "fitting in" why does he have no comment on CDB's early posting about absta?
He still hasn’t even attempted to address BT at all since replacing Vifam. If Jason truly had a scumread on the slot, he would have continued to pursue it. Then there is the dynamic of Zdenek. Jason claims he has a Town read on the slot, but when Zdenek begins to pressure Jason, Jason says:
↑ jasonT1981 wrote:Personally I just think you are trying to deflect attention back to me over the gambit etc so as to take away from people looking at you.
That is not how you address someone who you have a Town read on, both claimed before and after that quote.
I feel as if a large part of this wagon grew simply because we couldn’t respond because of how because we both were this past week. As I said earlier, rofl is walls and walls behind and is leaving the rest of the posting this Day to me. If we are around Tomorrow, everyone can badger him then.- TheGreatestAmericanHero

Really? That's interesting, I supported a TGAH lynch based on #633 reasoning and said I'd hold off the hammer until deadline so that TGAH would have chance to answer; it seems like that's exactly what I'm doing, is there something wrong with that plan? If not then I'm not sure why me saying "that felt really town" is any different to DV saying it felt town, can you paint the distinction for me since you think one is worse than the other?Thor665 is the beard king.

This is referring to his claim, no? I don't see what was so town with his claim is my point.
DV's point is before yours.. he's less certain, but still torn, and says gets like this near lynch time. (second guessing oneself, shit happens)

986 is altogether weak. It isn't this weekend that has resulted in you being wagoned... it's been your consistent lack of content.
The fake rage for not getting a Jason wagon to fruition, with now this 'calm' demeanor, is simply reassuring that you'll flip scum."ITT Benmage is making Shakespeare look cool. I need to bring you to my high school." -Vi

@CamnI thought I was a scum read to you?
---
No, not "number of posts". You've just provided single sentences as evidence instead of the whole post.Camn wrote:first.. a number of Absta's early posts are setup speculation and other chatter.
Your first example is post #60. That's really early in the game and a few people were talking shit, I don't see how that's anything but null.
Post #134. I was responding to a question from Benmage. What was I supposed to do, tell him to F-off?
In the same post I asked SD some questions so I could understand where he's coming from. That's neither setup speculation or useless chatter, which i'm assuming is why you didn't quote it.
post #136 was made 6 minutes after my previous post (#134) but i'll agree that this post wasn't exactly necessary. The fact that you split the post in two so that it looks like you have more evidence is scummy. You specifically said "a number of Absta's early posts" yet nearly all your evidence is based off of small sections (single sentences) of the posts.
post #288. Again, more to that post than the single sentence you provided. I gave two reads below the ( --- ). Also, this post came 9 minutes after my previous post which gave a read on Jason.

Jesus I just pulled my extra-ocular muscles from rolling my eyes too hard.
Letsjustlook at the last point, since I dont actually think saying 'DID NOT!' is a valid defense...
I take it absta is claiming that that was something other than 'chatter', in my words.
As if his 'reads' are useful.
Lets look at the post in question.. andthe town can be the judge.
Keep in mind.. this is one of Absta's exemplars of his overwhelming townieness, no?

@Camn
What's this based on?I cram in 'complains about speed" in the same tell-category. It happens to everyone, but scum are more likely to use it as an excuse.
There's no way for me to prove to you that the speed was actually to fast for me. I've replaced out too much lately, so that's out of question for now (no offence Mod), plus I like The Wire a lot. I specifically never play Large games because I know they'll be too fast for my liking. I didn't know this was a large until the game thread was created.
1. That someone was your scum read(?) Plez.Last, and though it may seem OMGUS-ey since its me, someone else also mentioned it as well.. His attack on me is not only shallow and contrived... it is classic scum, since it is a nonstarter. I am not a viable lynch, he has no support..
2. I'm not the only one who thinks you're scum from what i've seen.

Your first piece of 'evidence' is Post #515. (Wtf is wrong with you?)
How does this even look like an attempt at a case? That's just me voting you in a cool way.absta wrote:You know what?

I'm sick and tired of his fucking bull shit.
Post #516. Again, how does this look like an attempt at a case?
Your evidence sucks so much.People should vote Camn for what I brought up.
...
Wow, what the fucking shit? All your evidence for "crap-casing" is retarded. Is your case supposed to be some kind of joke or were you being serious with this?
@Everyone - Please, go read the "crap case" spoiler in Camn's post #947 and then read my actuall reasons for voting her in posts (1, 2, 3).- absta101
