This seems like it's your problem, not mine.

@Benmage: I've seen scumDeas having to fight off a D1 wagon on himself that was being lead by me. Wouldn't be particularly surprising. The word I was looking for is closer to "opportunistic" than "survivalistic", but etc.

You did something scummy. I don't have to immediately assume three layers of WIFOM to everything that is done on page 1.

Goddamn this thread blew up in between class.

CrashTextDummie wrote:I have more problems with Empire's DV vote though. It's craplogicy and hypocritical.

Erm, how is it bad logic or hypocritical? Voting someone for proposing an unorthodox strategy on page 1 is just about the laziest and lamest reason to vote someone. It doesn't require any real thought for scum to hang their vote on and it's especially jarring when you consider that you actually have proposed this as town before. I think the post was scummy and absolutely deserving of my vote.

DeasVail wrote:Empire, is your vote on me serious?

Yes, my vote is serious: see above. Also, in response to your #63, how is anyone supposed to get the impression that your vote wasn't serious? From when I read it, it damn well looked like you thought CTD suggesting a massclaim seemed scummy and I thought that it was jarring as fuck that you were making what seemed to be a serious vote based on something that should be null at worst. I'm not going to sit and limply ask you why you posted something I'm already perceiving as scummy -- if I see something I think is scummy, I'm not going to waste my time and I'm just going to vote for it.

~~~
Obnoxious wallpost should be coming later tonight or tomorrow once everyone's gotten their chance to chime in more in the thread.
Probably Town:
Johhog
Konowa
Nacho
Shadoweh
Meh:
N
Empire
Penguin
Tammy
Vi
DV - first post is scummy in the selfvoting way
WJ
CES
For lynching:
Benmage - Like Darox in that he is usually scum when he appears slightly pro-town
CTD - Putting a link into that short of a thought is scummy.
Tierce is weird. Probably town though.
The presumptuous statement is more to that I've seen you as both alignments make a fuss over players who say "if X flips Scum then Y is next". Saying that DV, your opening post was scummy, which you now admit was on purpose (trying to attract attention). So you presuming that we would read through your bit is what I found ironic.
I hate phone posting.
The thought was that me saying it was scummy, specifically mentioning how CTD has played before, would reveal that I know CTD asks for a massclaim every game.
PEdit: I'm not sure. I still want to think that scum would be more likely to focus on attacking without realising the above, but I'm beginning to think it was too subtle with Tierce and Empire not likely being scum together.
I've got something else to do now, but I'll decide what I think later.
Empire is town...most likely. I'll be able to tell for sure after an effort post, but first thought is he would be too self-conscious to call himself obvtown, especially in a game with me and tierce and regfan waiting to replace in if necessary. And I doubt he'd bother to be posting in between classes as scum, he'd be far more likely to just put it off.
Tammy's post doesn't give me any sort of warm and fuzzies. That can come from either alignment, especially considering how often Blue has been playing together lately. The timing seems a little ugh too.
Yes, timing.
Also, the read you gave was very lazy. Considering what I've seen of TownTammy/Blue, color me underwhelmed.
Pretty sure you're just bad at reading benmage.
Random thought: Closed White Flag.
Non-random thought: this game is boring.
Johhog is comfortable / assertive.
"Whoa why did you get a different impression from mine" is town because town expect others to agree with them whereas mafia realize they have a different perspective.
Nacho is also comfortable and random antagonism isn't usually scumvtown.
I believe / find genuine Konowa's introspection in 47.
Shadoweh's "Then again I am a terrible judge of character" and "may not be good enough to do this" self deprecation posts sound town.
I'm never a fan of 'I am trying this once' or 'I wouldn't make this error as scum' though.
I don't have another example of finding a link scummy, but I think CTD wanted his post to be taken as immediate reactions to the thread while the link indicates more construction went into it.
Benmage is commenting on relevant things.
I've done ok at reading Benmage in the past, if I remember right.
Well, I'll *try* to coordinate whatever few minutes I have here and there this week to fit some better timing according to your schedule for what seems appropriate or I'll continue to post when I have the time.
The read I gave probably was lazy. I know how I read empire, and I probably wouldn't explain it under normal circumstances but some people think he's scum for some reason, so I explained it as best I can for how I read empire.
And I really don't want to hear about what you expect from towntammy. I was very upfront about how little I'd be able to give to this game this week. If this weekend comes around and I haven't given what you expect from town Tammy complain to me then. (hint: you won't have to...I'm town)
