hmmm interesting, mine is very different yet we have the same role. I also notice Sotty has not posted a standard VT role PM in the OP so this has got me thinking that even VTs have different wording.
Why is jason surprised that PV's role is a demon that you fight in the game? That's the whole point of the flavor...that the town are the "enemies" in the video game while the scum are the "heroes" of the game. I think jason is town, though, based on the kinds of questions he was asking PV.
The voting thing doesn't mean that much to me because scum can also vote, so I'd be really surprised if they didn't have a flavored voting mechanism as well. Still, I buy it overall. I buy that VTs can have different role names and flavor. PV seems legit to me.
PV, I was okay with your lynch mostly because of your hypocritical vote on SK and the fact that you placed a vote on me and then forgot why. I also felt you were trying to post just enough to not be considered a lurker, even under pressure. My fears about you are mostly gone now.
Unfortunately, if we can indeed trust PV based on his claim, this will be the last time we are able to use this kind of information to our advantage, because if scum didn't have a taste of the town's role PM flavor before, they do now.

.
I have not really played Dark Souls, so not really up to date with flavor. I did a quick google and saw the claim was someone the main player fights..... I bought the game, but it kept freezing up on me so I took it back for refund. That's the height of my DS knowledge really.
My main reason for playing is that Sotty is a good friend of mine in RL and I am playing more because she is mod than the flavor of the game. Truthfully if it were not for Sotty/Zach being involved in this (Zach helps me design all my games) I would probably not be playing.

Scum could have gotten fake claims.... believing the claim is one thing, but confirming someone as town is another.
if the claim is true, then he is town.
if i believe the claim, therefore I believe he is town.
i believe the claim, therefore I believe and confirm him to be town. unless he is killed during the night and says so otherwise i currently do not support a peregrine lynch.

You are the status quo, you are what makes Lordran the land others talk about only in hushed whispers. You are revered, respected and most importantly... FEARED.
The land of the Ancient Lords, you have all watched over your areas just like you were born to do so. Protecting all that is precious in this land, dispelling all threats, crushing all would be heroes.
But lately news has surfaced that some of you are dying, but not only that... Some of you are being murdered... Talk of The Chosen Undead fills the townships, the swamps, the forests.... The chatter is deafening, the rumors are circling and doubt is bubbling it's way to the surface.
You try to ignore it... But you can't help but wonder.. Are you next?
i seriously doubt that jason is scum for attacking peregrine for being a boss, especially considering this bit of flavor
it's obvious as fuck that bosses = town, and i don't see him jumping headfirst into an attack like that while scum, but I do see him making the mistake based on flavor in his role PM which might not be as clear as this bit was

he's a replacement, so the 2 post things make sense
what looks shitty is the hop on peregrine, especially considering the nature of the wagon on peregrine
it shows that he didn't even skim anyone voting him before jumping on himself, which doesn't seem too good to me

ahh. didn't know that. does make sense. i just iso'd him and showed only two.
and thats what i thought was interesting too. especially if he is a replacement, then it makes it that much worse for him that the first person he would put his vote on was peregrine unless he just wanted him lynched.
which if he is town then scum definitely would want.
