Okay almost caught up looking at the arguments I said I would, but I've got a date with a swimming pool in the morning and will mull this over during laps.

Quickly though. Shadoweh, I don't think it's fair to use open 463 against empire for non waffle ness. We were a hydra in that game and both had some pretty strong reads we felt confident in and I'm sure that helped to bolster each other. Plus someone has to make up for my waffliness ;) . But if you look at castle zar you'll see him having trouble even though he was right. (I feel bad I think I've rubbed off on him some, so it's probably my fault).

Wickedest - I ont think shadoweh was looking to back out of a read on tierce in . That's more of a comment on the fact that she tends to read tierce as town even when she's not.

Empire - ill read through white flag tomorrow. I forgot johhog was in it, but was going to reread through it anyway for llamarble and nacho.

Shadoweh - why did you move your vote off of ctd just about the time it looked like it was picking up?

Okay, that's all I think I wanted to quickly address. I have other things I want to talk about but tomorrow not *sleep*

I think Johhog is town because he doesn't seem to care about how he is perceived. The ignorance of valid questions is annoying but doesn't seem like a scumtell for him in this case- I think he would answer the questions as scum. I also think his response to Tierce when she unvoted DV looked genuine. Llamarble looks like town because of his reads and justification for those reads. He pointed out things which I had also used to read some other players. I didn't necessarily agree with everything he's said, but I don't get the impression that he's 'faking' anything. E.g. his early scumread on CTD- the point regarding the link didn't make sense to me, but I have a hard time imagining him coming up with it as mafia.

Benmage- I can think of some reasons... nothing strong though. It seems like a very weak/easy thing to attack me for. Answer my question please.

Shadoweh- switch back to CTD?
Everyone- vote CTD?

I'll try to contribute some more tomorrow when I'm at a computer. I don't like phone posting. Takes me forever to make posts like this. :?

Won't be able to post until tomorrow night, most likely. In the meantime, here's what I'm at with my reads. Remind me of this post later so I can go into my reasoning.

Would you really call Main suspect N moving his vote 'picking up.' I would like you to note that people did not start voting him until AFTER I unvoted. I am staring at your votes scowling and wondering why this happens. I am afraid to vote him worrying that my vote will stand as a curse throwing everyone off the wagon running for the hills.

Konowa wrote:Like, I don't understand the relevance, or anything indicative, of asking Empire why -he- thinks it took -me- "so long to come up with the reason for Tierce-Town". Phrasing (why it took Konowa so long to come up with the reason for Tierce-Town) makes it seem that you don't believe my reasoning. If this is correct, again why not address me directly about it?

I'm not really sure about it (It should probably be asking why it took so long to explain your Tierce-town post), but I'm leaning towards it being scummy because I think if town did a reaction test they'd be pretty eager to show it off after it had stopped being 'in effect' (I guess). My overall read is a bit muddled though, so I may go over it tonight, but I'm pretty happy on Penguin.

Also, I think Empire said something about it not being scummy and I thought it could be, so I was asking for his opinion on what I thought. If you have anything to say about it, you can if you want?

Shadoweh, I meant that I don't really agree with him being scum when I commented on the wagon. I don't think any vote on the wagon was particularly scummy or anything (I'm still not sure about the Penguin thing though) and I just really disagree with having things like no. of scumreads/townreads on the wagon influence my reads.

Might go over stuff later. We'll see.

If it gives you that overwhelming optimism again, this isn't a bad list. Except for the Vi-part, but etc.

Wickedestjr wrote:I voted CTD for the following reasons-
-His questions for DV (which I asked him about) were kind of unhelpful/uninteresting. He admitted that he didnt find DV's post suspicious. It looks like it can only be an attempt to look like hes scumhunting.
-Most of his posting revolves around going after easy/popular targets or responding to comments that regard him or his suspects.

His question was pretty early on, and his choice to engage seems less scummy than the alternatives. And given that there seems to be an underlying sentiment that some targets aren't going to be lynched until later in the game, I don't think he's alone in focusing on some people while disregarding others. In reading through his ISO, he actually seems more willing to address a decent swath of people in his queries and calls out some targets that aren't high on anyone's list (Johhog springs to mind).

I don't see scum there. N's dodging (answering Vi's question with a reference to Konowa? in going through his ISO the only time he mentioned Konowa was on page one where he apparently interpreted Konowa's vote on me as buddying N) is not remotely town.

Actually I'm amused by how well the Scum According To Empire corresponds to the activity overview. N might actually be Town, and then we'd be left with the four top lurkers as the four scum.

...it would be funny, anyway. (>")>

That's exactly what I'm doing, staying out of this thread.

Wickedestjr is sooo town it burns. I could get behind a CTD lynch though. I think he's pretty clearly trying to stay out of the limelight by asking pseudo-scumhunting questions, that hardly can be used to actually lure out the scum.
