so there may or may not be VTs. that is enough with setup specs.

Also, not only protective roles would be obvious. I mean duh Chansey is prob doc but ya know if I knew someone was Entei I'd have a guess about whether they're powerful >__> and if I have one charmander and one charizard against me as scum, I would obviously know which one to shoot. you've been acting bad.

@JW - just so i understand...you have to wait until someone is at L-1 and then you can say "intent to hammer" and that will allow you to perform a lie detect on them?

If this is the case, then i suggest we don't wait until close to deadline to get the first wagon going, just in case they do come back as town, we might need some time to find a good counterlynch...
also for the first wagon, i suggest that the player need not role-claim at L-1, seeing as you can verify them...this might keep a town PR from outting himself to scum.

misunderstanding the way I understand it.
a Lie Detector, the way I remember it, can once in a game ask the mod if one post has lies in it or something alike. the man's plan was nice, but we need, imo, to each make separate I'm Town post so that it would be crystal clear. Now, it's not that he needs someone to enable the power for them by having person X in L-1 and claiming intent to hammer. no. The idea is the following, and it is a good one:
suppose town wants to lynch mr. X. oh well, he's already in L-1 and stuff, and someone declares intent to hammer. then, before hammering, he can go and use the lie detector on the hammeree, and see if he's scum or not. that way, we see if he is scum; if he is, lynch ahoy. if not, we have him as confirmed town, AND we can use our lynch somewhere else, AND we can analyze the wagon on him as if he was hammered. aight?? good.

About roleclaiming at L-1: that's a question worth raising:

Pros:

**after a claim, we might decide not to lynch him, and save the 1-shot lie detector for the next possible lynch.
**after a claim, we might not need to waste the same shot, and lynch him immediately (for example, if he fakeclaims something that we know is wrong)

Cons:

**in case he's town with a PR that will not make us retreat after teh claim, we're using the LD and we've let scum know the power he possesses.

Yes i am waiting to L-1 to use this power, and that was practically the whole idea except for the part where the guy out's himself at all.

Also i want all Protective type roles on this guy that gets conf. town, do not WIFOM or i will hurt you.

Not quite sure something just gives me a gut feeling of genuine, but that may be the avatar and the Harry Potter theme of the account (i was into Harry Potter when i was younger)

anyway, I wasn't trying to misrep you, I just misinterpreted you. what I had seen was someone asking if we should question Jason and his other possible abilities (which I didn't see any use in. it just makes him that much more of target) which then registered as you wanted to out his role. I couldn't see any town motivation from that

and yes, I do have games to support the fact that I in fact do not vote early on. I have my wiki set up, and any game that I didn't replace in is worth looking into
