I understand what you are getting at, and you would be right in your usual games where people are held accountable. But this is a newbie game, players that havent thought about the game as much and that can be "bullied" into bad decisions. And this wasnt even brought up until Miss M did so.

Let me ask you this, wouldnt a good experienced player as a wolf try to get the claimed jailkeeper out of the way via a lynch in a game full of noobs?

Cyber isn't a noob he has at least 2 games, but yes i do understand what you are saying but that wouldn't make it a viable strategy in the thought that one of the noobs might think of that.

But I do have to say that your reactions are townie, you seem to really belive that lynching the claim was correct, regardless of if it was correct or not the important thing is if you belive it... which you seem to do. My argument only holds if you belive it was wrong and you did it anyway.

Honestly, trust wise you all get about the same, Town to scum is different to trust majorly.

I'm on page 7 and I'm already fairly convinced that Jason is scum. all I did was skim through, but he did a bucket load of IIoA (yeah, I get you're IC, but you do have to scum hunt too) and pushed some pretty bad stuff IMO and I'm still baffled as to why you decided to continue the claimed JK, the reason you used was intense as fuck WIFOM

The more I think about this the more I think you are right. If player A claims to be jailkeeper uncontested you dont lynch that person, the mafia will kill him at night. If player A is still alive the next day then you lynch him, an experienced player should know this.

Think of it this way, Mafia procedds to not kill the Jailkeeper and we just have a WIFOMic ball of crap and a delayed mislynch.

Not to mention even more WIFOMic crap with the fact that the "JK" may have blocked the Night Kill or saved the target and there comes a crap load more WIFOM.

Not to mention that it's the best Mafia sided fake claim cause they can cause a mislynch from a fake block and still be considered town.

And the fact that again 6/7 still wanted the lynch to go through, clearly the optimal lynch was Mr Z

OK lets assume instead of lynching MrZ we didn't

Day 2 lynch JK

That's one possibility

Day 3 Lynch the claimed JK

all this is WIFOM Jason, you know this. and that last part was WIFOM and AtE combined, if you wanted to avoid WIFOM, why are you giving us more WIFOM? You're stating things that may not have happened, the reason you used to lynch may not have happened, you're commenting on what may or may not have happened during the night, and you are already setting this all up as if you know you wouldn't have killed claimed JK so that, if you didn't some how get him lynched, you could use him for w/e reasons you wanted.

and why bring up Lynching was good? no one had brought up the prospect of no lynch. we know Lynching is good, I'm pretty sure.

Lots of discussion on why we lynched MrZ after his claim of JK went uncontested.

I think the obvious answer is that nobody believed him.

First for scum to not get lynched they almost have to claim a PR so it wasn’t much of a stretch to believe that scum:MrZ would claim JK.

Second not every game has a JK so it may have gone uncontested because there was no JK in the game. Additionally even if MrZ was scum I’m not convinced that an actual JK would have come forward to counter claim since it didn’t look like it was necessary for the lynch to proceed and it would have let scum know who the real JK was.

As it happened in real time lynching MrZ seemed like the right thing to do. However now I think we did make a mistake. Although he would undoubtedly have been either NK’ed or lynched today we could have maybe gained some additional information from him or at least make scum use a NK to get rid of him.

Moving on.

My most riliable town read, he was also the top townie for MrZepher who we know was a villager. I have been agreeing with his thoughtprocess in most posts.

Why do you say that BEF was the top townie for MrZ? In his final post before being lynched MrZ directed us to look at three individuals one of which was BEF.

A hammer is never a definite scumtell, and that is why I did not put up a vote. Typically after a mislynch, I start with who threw in the hammer and work my way backwards and see if anything sticks out to me in hindsight.
