Additionally, I don't see why you're voting me if you've been "watching all my games", since if I've been an idiot in every single one of them, that would mean I'm matching my townplay, hurr durr.
(Ok, now I'm done responding)
As a sidenote: I want everyone to carefully watch how KBW reads me for the rest of the game; if he finds excuses to scumread me, or claims that I'm scum later on without making an actual case, he is probably scum for picking someone to vote, then find a reason to call scum.- Jake from State Farm

Just a heads up I made a slight edit to my ruleset that probably should have been there alread. The change is
All mafiascum site rules apply in addition to my own ruleset, i.e. play to win, don't talk about ongoing games, etc.
Talking about ongoing games is a not allowed so I suggest that we put an end to that right now. ThanksShowThings I've learned.
1. It's just a game, have fun.
2. Don't waste time on people who think you are scum. Ignore them and keep scum hunting.
3. Don't take everything so personal.

Also, you need to calm down. I won't call you a Idiot anymore, BUT that doesn't change my opinion. Post some real content, and then well see.
I'm voting you because the Village Idiots get lynched first for being dumb.
It's happened to me a thousand times. So don't get all pissy with me over a name.
This is the Internet dude, you can't take stuff seriously.- Revenus

I'm going to explain my comment further (from the end of post #100
Right now KBW is voting me solely because he think's I'm stupid. Why is that? I'm not sure. He says it's based on my past games, but then again, offers no proof that he's actually read any of my past (finished) games, so ;null;.
Now, since this is early in the game, although it's lazy, maybe he's just town looking to plop his vote down somewhere.
However, however, however.
There's no reason, he as town, who currently has his vote on me, NOT because he thinks I'm scummy, but because he think's I'm "VI" (which actually implies he thinks I'm town, if you think about it). If he, 100 posts from now, flips to me being scummy without reason, or something of that like, that will be scummy.
Why?
The scumread in this situation will come before the case. It's bad. This is scum thinking. Town doesn't go into a game and go "hey, I think I'm going to just vote this person and make the evidence fit my read"; it works the other way around.
I'm mentioning this because I find that KBW insulting me and voting me is particularly egregious and I want town to be on the lookout for this too.- Keybladewielder

you're all idiots
Now, recap time.
Because one is trying to kill the person and one is trying to keep the person alive. If you're going to make a case to kill someone, you better have some good evidence on your back. If you're going to call someone town, there should be some reason but definitely not as concrete as full-fledged scumread. Just because you're addressing two extremes doesn't mean that the two extremes are equal in stance.Bache wrote:so basically my meta on Rev is bad because its meta, and you have a counter-meta point on Rev being town.
And you don't think he took advantage of that?Bache wrote:I'm used to every game having that player and I got off the BEF wagon as soon as I realized how lazy it was
While I had no reasoning. That's basically an RVS reaction--just not in RVS. Your reaction after it is a vote, basically. I'm going to make my move.Bache wrote:Also, there is a reason to note when I'm in your lynch pool, since what you post is a part of the game for me to make comments on
If we don't find consensus on BEF, then I'm going after Bacde.- Bacde

Hiraki, here's the thing: Mafia is a game all about killing people
There isn't some requirement out there that I need more or less evidence to want to lynch someone than to say that they are town
...whats your case on BEF, by the way? (oh wait you don't even have one)
Have you even looked into BEF's meta? He only has like 5 pages. There's no way this dude is "taking advantage" of my read on him. He might be getting lucky, but to be frank I don't see him being good enough of a player to manipulate how I perceive events.

So if you made a statement with little reasoning, then you should have been looking for a reaction. But when I reacted, you then stated that I had no reason to respond to your post. Dude, you as much reason to respond to my "Hiraki is throwing me off" post as I had to respond to your first content post of the game! Reactions to posts are good--which is why I try to comment on as many things that stand out to me as possible
I don't even understand why you are still on the BEF wagon, you seem much more interested in me (oh wait, you are scum aren't you)- Bacde

maybe a vote that dr zoidberg brought out

don't agree? don't really care
It's not that hard to play off when you call him derping. Hell, X says Herp. Y is probably going to say Herp Derp. You kind of gave him a bit of leeway.Bacde wrote: He might be getting lucky, but to be frank I don't see him being good enough of a player to manipulate how I perceive events.
Correct.Bacde wrote:So if you made a statement with little reasoning, then you should have been looking for a reaction.
Pointing it out something is much different than reacting to it. If you've ever played Ace Attorney, then you should realize how the court case works in the game. You're able to object to certain statements but if you want to succeed in the game, you'll need to point something out that makes sense.Bacde wrote:But when I reacted, you then stated that I had no reason to respond to your post.
Your statement is bad because you're able to point at a statement but never had stated why exactly it was wrong.
This is the only thing that could be remotely related:
This doesn't say anything why I'm wrong just that I'm wrong. This is pointing. Not reacting.Bacde wrote:his reads are all way different than mine plus he has me in his potential lynch pool

To me it looks like you are attacking Revenus for being a VI, and then defending your accusations by saying "I said you were scummy and gave the reasons"- Hiraki

Gotta go with the King of Snark on the whole Fishy wagon. That said I'd rather give the replacement a chance to read the game before deciding to put a vote there.
I still don't like Lurker's move onto the wagon for the sake of it when he was already on a wagon (for the sake of it?) as pointed out in kashoodles Post 92 and since he hasn't done anything since I think his wagon definitely needs to grow
