. A bit of a long-term one. In addition to my weekend V/LA, I'll be prepping for a surgery on Monday (posting then is doubtful), in surgery Tuesday (posting then is even more doubtful ), and then recovering for the next week or so. During which I'll be posting whenever I have the strength to get MS access. Shouldn't be debilitating to the point where I can't play, soyeah, you shouldn't need to replace me, but it's something you should be made aware of.

Goat's a fish out of temporal water. That single post isn't enough on its own to condemn him. Doesn't mean he's town, but I don't think it's vote-worthy. I'd advise you to look at his posting and determine how much you think he's keeping from the olden days (which allows you to read him off of olden-days tells) and how much you think he is being truthful about not keeping up with current site meta compared to how much you think he may be hiding how quickly he's adjusted. (For instance--Bacde. Bacde has pretty much the same joindate if memory serves, yet you'd never be able to guess by just how naturally he plays. But he didn't get there overnight; there was culture shock from him that I sort-of gauged.)

Also, explain why D3 seems to be so important and why you believe you'll live until D3. You mention it twice, once for revealing flavour and for talking about Majiffy D3.

But to answer--I talk of day three because the only way I'm dieing before then is via nightkill. Which would mean one of these happened:
-A vig wasted a shot on me (especially since I've offered a reveal on d3 which should be well-before lylo),
-A SK thought taking me out would be a good idea,
-Or the scum NK'd the miller claim before they kill the cop, a-la LIPD Mafia.

Speed of a wagon, like it or not, IS a factor. There CAN be town-based quick-wagons, but experience tells me that assuming all members of a quick-wagon are town is naive to the point of idiocy. Quick-wagons CAN be on scum, but experience tells me that assuming so is going against the numbers; quick-wagons are almost never on scum. With the possible exception of multiball games.

As for lynch material--I meant what I said. I don't think Majiffy is a good d1 lynch regardless of his alignment. If he's town, he's a dang-good scumhunter whether you like him or not. Not to Nero levels of good, but not someone you want to casually dismiss. If he's scum, his posts can shed light on who his scumbuddies are. As I said. I'm not considering a lynch on him 'til d3. I'm writing him off and giving him a pass, kinda like I'm giving AP a pass, kinda like I'm giving Nero a pass.

And those ARE reads, whether you want 'em to be or not.
Qwints is nullish-scum. GIF's alignment is determined by multiscum or not. Messiah (who I'm currently voting) is a scumread. Nero/Angel's posting wasn't solid at the time of the post, but they've since rebounded onto the town side of things by quite some margin, butyeah, the important factor here is that at the time they looked bad.

I have not played on this site in years. I popped on a month ago, and received a prod from 2008. And I'm (obviously) not too concerned about the common perception of when the random stage should stop. It's D1. I enjoy random voting and having fun. Tis what I'm gonna do.

I seem to remember you playing a game or two after 2008. Significantly after.

Hey, I just realised that I've completely disregarded some pressure towards me because I asked bork why GIF is town.

I'm not sure how Nero has come to the conclusion that me and ANG will be partners should he flip scum. I mean, really? I asked why bork called GIF town based on #33 (and glossed over ninja posts in the process) and then thought, if anything, it was more likely to be a scum move.

Anyway, Ms. Marangal looks really strange for her interactions with The Goat a couple of pages back. I thought TG was pretty clearly joking around and it was taken literally. Looked like she was trying to form a case on Goat out of nothing to me.
