Anyhow, lots of stuff here to work with now. ThAd's analysis posts aren't bad. I do think the clear move today is to lynch Iec. He's the safest bet for hitting scum I believe. What I want to do is figure out who could be a potential PV-Iec partner before the day is out. That will give a clear game plan to follow.

Empking is the next person I want to read.
He's townish, but I definitely want to double check things.

I think levi is probably town. The conditional/chain attack on Nacho was scummy given leviTown.

Iecerint, I really don't see how lev's being town would make me scummier, because as town I do not know whether or not lev is scum; I can only speculate based on his behavior. I can be wrong or right based on the exact same reasoning. I don't see how a fact I'm not privy to would affect my perceived alignment. You keep throwing this out there and it really doesn't make any sense to me. If you're trying to say that my accusation of lev doesn't look like a bus, fine, then say that.

As scum, you knew Levi was town, so you were making plans predicated on Levi flipping town.

As town, you would probably focus on evaluating whether Levi was scum before constructing too many conditional dominoes (particularly ones of the "If XTown, then Yscum" type). You would also be more alarmed at Levi's bizarre/scummy early posts.

Somewhat hypocritically for me, if Levi is actually scum, all of this is nullified -- but I think Levi's town at this point.

Dunno what the mea culpa is, though. I did have one of those with FourTrouble.

I am still OK with my RestFermata vote for now. I'm not really getting a change in my POV as she continues to post. Some other players seem to think her posting-style has made her town, though, so maybe I require schooling.

SaintKerrigan is the main place I am entertaining switching to.

Chkflp probably would've been my pick if he were still alive due to his having hammered D1 to unlynch Pere, but he's not. My two main gut scum reads of players still alive are RestFermata and HumanDestroyer (latter is mostly relational). Town on VP/Nacho/levi/FT, null on EmpKing.

HumanDestroyer gets townpoints for voting PereV out of the gate after someone else had already voted me going into D2. RestFermata was in favor of the PereV wagon prior to being opposed to it and then voting MsMarangal.

So the entirety of your case is that you didn't like RF's conditional attack. I didn't like it either, but that was very, very early on. Second, is a change in your point of view as she continues to post, but I don't understand what the hell that point means. Third is that she voted PereV day 2 prior to being opposed to it, but... that was my position as well.

It has nothing to do with my read on you. Scum bus all the time (in fact, I'd say it's the optimal scum play at this point after the ball of flame PV went down in) and simply because someone calls another person scum doesn't mean I would consider that person town. I've felt RF was on the town side of things for a while now simply because she seemed too aloof of some basic concepts to be scum on the con. I could be wrong of course, but that'd be some pretty genius scum play and I just wasn't getting that vibe from her. ThAd hasn't really been here long enough to color that viewpoint one way or another.

I think I've said he was a townread multiple times now, comes from an early period where I really liked his push on RestFermata.

I haven't really been paying attention to this game but unless I really missed something drastic I don't want him lynched.

That part isn't a part of the case -- several players by that point D1 were saying that they had come around and thought that RestFermata was town due to je ne sais quoi. I was pointing out that had happened as a note to myself.

I had assumed Gwyn's family could be scum at the start of the game. It was a possibility that the MC might be scum, but it wasn't sure to me. Anyway, this kind of thing would definitely be modulated by whatever role PM you happened to pick up.

Yeah, I remember you having a townread on me D1, at least, and I remember having a relative townread on you D1, too, for that matter, though I don't know if I ever voiced it because I thought various players' "hmm could be scum" parroting might be useful down the line.

But I mean it is rational to have at least a little bit of suspicion, even if the reasoning is as facile as "Pere flipped scum," especially since your level of engagement is relatively low.

But it could be that your head is still in D1 or something.
